For the rest of the day, I stayed following Thomas. The classes I had were either close or with him, so I kept an eye out for him in every class and after every class.
After 6th period, I quickly walked out my Pre-Calculus class. That old teacher guy could put anyone to sleep with his annoying Monotone voice that sounded softer than a baby's lullaby. I searched around for Thomas, since I had no damn idea where the lunch room was. Like I was going to stay in there anyways. With all those people staring at me, since some tall blondie came and said she was some type of dean and took my sweater and my shirt was a green and blue vest, that showed my arms.
"Kristen Lee?"
I turned to see a brunette, 'bout my height, 5'5. PSaveerky with a tight fitting T-shirt that obviously was too tight on her chest and a short jeans. Her hair was pinned in a tight messy bun that seemed to pull her hair back tightly. I forced a smile as she quickly walked in front of me, forcing me to stop dead in my tracks.
"Lillia. What a doosey."
She glared at me, her eyes shining with a flame that couldn't be put out easily.
But it seemed to flicker down a notch.
"Why are you here?" She asked.
"School."
"Why are you back?"
"Cause I want to come back."
"Where's that aunt of yours?"
My smile faltered, quickly replaced with a snare.
"She left somewhere. Done with 21 questions? Good, cause I have people to meet." I grounded out. I pushed past her, her books falling onto the floor, along with mine. I sighed loudly, running a hand through my hair and dropping down to grab my books. I stood up, Lillia still blocking my way. I gave her an impatient look, my hands gripping my books that needed to be placed in a locked that desperately needed to buy.
"Yes, Lillia? What now?"
She grinned at me, but her eyes shone with anger and hate. Bipolar bitch.
"Just letting you know. Stay away from my boyfriend. And all the cute guys in the school."
I smirked, but raised an eyebrow at her.
"So all the cute guys in school are your boyfriends? Wow, your still the little whore you were three years ago," I said, those words that came out of my mouth felt like a knife slicing through butter, smooth and easily said.
"Bye Lillia. Hope your not in any of my classes!" I waved, flipping my middle finger off at her. I grinned, looking for any familiar face that I could use to help me find the cafeteria and show me the school store to buy the locker.
Just as I was walking past a couple who was literally sucking faces, someone bumped into me. I fell, my books scattering across the floor.
"Shit. Sorry 'bout that. Wasn't paying attention."
"Its okay. Same here. Some people don't understand that other people don't want to see them have oral sex in the hall." A familiar male voice grumbled out.
" Thomas?"
He looked up, his stiffened face softening. He grabbed his bag and stood up, helped me up off the floor and grabbed the papers that fell from my hands.
"You know how long I was looking for you?"
I gave him a fake innocent look. "Sorry, but old memories came to haunt me. Told me to stay away from all the cute guys in the school."
He gave me a light chuckle, his eyes giving a care free look to his regular look. It made him look almost kinda cute. KINDA...
"So I'm guessing that you bumped into someone that you didn't want to see."
I nodded, my books and papers slipping out of my hand. I grumbled a curse under my breath as I dropped my belongings on the floor, tired of holding them up. He looked down at the books, then back at me.
"Are you expecting me to pick those up?"
I shook my head, as I looked over to the right. Lillia walked up to Thomas, grabbing hold of his arm. I looked as she stepped all over my papers and notes from the last class.
I grinned, trying to control my temper.
"Lillia?"
"Yes, Kristen Lee?" She asked, playing innocent as she stood on my papers, grinding her foot into them.
Breathe...
Breathe...
Breathe...
Too late...
"Get your fucking foot off my-"
"Kriss! WHATSUP!"
I turned around, my fist balled up at my sides. Jason was walking towards me, his blues eyes filled with concern. He wrapped an arm around my shoulder, pulling me towards his side. I looked over at Thomas and Lillia. She had anger streaming out of her, but before, she drooled over Jason. Thomas seemed relaxed, not really fazed.
"Jason. What?" I interestly was able to grind through clentched teeth.
He rubbed my shoulder, noticing that I was angered. He raised an eyebrow at me, and I gave hi a pointed look at my stuff under Lillia.
He let out a, "Ahh,' then said,"Lillia? Do you think you can get off my good friends things here?"
She looked at him as if he had wings and a halo over his head. She quickly jumped off my things, and even picked them up, ordered them neatly and handed them to me. But the ways he did it seemed so fake, as if she really wanted to just get the attention of the two boys in front of us. She bent over, giving Jason a view of her cleavage and Thomas a view of her ass. Jason gave me that SAVE ME look, while Thomas seemed happy about seeing the body part that he wants on top of his lap.
I looked over past Jason's shoulder, behind him. More people were now coming out to see what was going on in the hall.
"Jason, I'll see you later. Text me when your ready to go. I'll be by your car."
He snapped his head to me, his eyesbrows raised to look at me with understanding. "Go to your last two classes then meet me in front of my locker. Its in front of the art room."
I nodded, then walked off, shivering at the eyes looking at me.
What the hell was I thinking about coming back to this school? Now, I probably have the whole cheerleading team on my ass for even talkikng to the God of their school.
