"Ouch. Heartbreak. It's..." I sat up, the phone clutched close to my ear.
"No. Fucking Way. YAEL!!!" I screamed. Lyle shot up, his hair frazzled. He gave me an annoyed look, but I pressed my thumb on his lips. He pulled my hand down, intertwining his fingers in mine. I turned away, a blush form its way on my face.
"Yup. It's me, brat. How's the weather treating ya?"
I inwardly smile. "Other than being drenched, I'm fine. How about you?"
"Oh you know, being at Bianca's place is crappy, but I'm happy to be back."
I froze. "Your in town!" He laughed. "Yeah. I wanna see you after this storm, okay. So tell me where your staying, and I'll do a surprise pop in."
I told him were I was staying, and we said a few more words and then our goodbyes.
"Love you."
"Love you too, Lee."
"You seem excited." Lyle said, obvious anger written over his face. He released my hand, quickly opening the door and running back to the house. I groaned, shoving my phone in my bra and bracing myself for the freezing cold rain. I ran, closing the door behind me and walking inside, kicking my shoes off. The twins were in a heated game of NBA 2K13, shoving and swatting at each others controllers. I sat in between the two of them.
"What ever you did pissed him off. Better see whats wrong." Dennis, who was on the left of me said.
"Nah, Let him cool off. He'll come too, and when he does, talk then." Dustin said.
"Yeah, and look what happened to you when you did that. Your Beats went missing for a whole month until you talked to him."
"Because you took them!" He yelled. He stood up, throwing the PlayStation 3 controller on the couch and stormed off. He opened the door I pointed at earlier and ran down some stairs, slamming the door behind him.
"I guess you won?" I asked. He nodded, placing the controller on the coffee table in front of him.
"When Dustin comes back up in a few minutes, go down there and try to talk to my to brother. He may be an a- jerk, but he has a heart of silver."
"Silver? Isn't it a heart of gold?"
He shook his head, pulling his hair into a ponytail. "Silver, Cause its pure, but he can also be some what of an a- a jerk. Just let him know what happened, cause it's probably something that he mixed up with."
I smiled. " 'Kay. By the way, who is more closer to Lyle, you or Dustin?"
"I believe Dustin, because he can see through the stupid pranks we pull on him, but he thinks its me, because I can calm him down quicker."
I made an O with my mouth, and quickly the door opened, Dustin walking out. He tossed me a sprite, and Dennis a Dr. Pepper, nodding his head towards the door. "Come on. Go talk to him. Seems pretty upset."
I sighed, walking down the stairs. Immediately, a blue door made its way into my view. I pushed it open, seeing a flat screen TV mounted on the wall with tons of games and stations sitting on a shelf under it. In the middle of the room there was a couch and two single seaters on either side facing each other. On the other side, a pool table was seen along with another door, a mini bar off to the right. Lyle sat there with a Strawberry Dragonfruit SoBe water bottle.
"Hey."
He looked over to me, nodded, then turned back to the TV mounted on the wall across of him. I walked over and sat next to him. He gave me a "Corner of the eye" look.
