Leigh

"What do you mean he wont pay?" He slammed his hand down on the table. Everyone stopped, watching amd staring . I choose the small cafe on the corner just because of the publicity there was here. He wouldn't do anything stupid with all these people around to see.

I rolled my eyes, twirling the piece of hair I had on my finger around. "He. Won't. Pay. Just like I said." He sat down, slowly closing his eyes and folding his hands together.

"And what are you going to do about it, Leigh?"

"Me? After he got his stupid bitch back, he forgot all about me. I'm just dust under the rug to him. Nothing more. And I don't have a problem with him. I have a problem with his stupid little charity case."

"Look, Leigh, his mother owes me money. I told you to forget about that, about her, them, its the past-"

"How could you forget? Kev, the bullet that pierced through the right side of your ribs, so close that the doctor said you were lucky to live, didn't come from those same cops that protected that bitch and her brother? Wasn't Yael the one who snicthed and told his parents about the whole thing? Why do you want to get revenge on some petty house wife who probably doesn't remember you?"

"Because Leigh," He said, standing up and pulling his chair next to mine. He sat, looking around of anyone who seemed nosy. "Jose was sent to jail because he killed those cops. He did! I had nothing to do with it. I was able to get away, so I was just fuckin' lucky. That petty house wife owes me more that what you fuckin' think, lil sis. Don't think for one second that I don't think about Jose, 'cause I do, every fuckin' day. But I have other stuff to do to. Now, what do you know about Cristine Davidson?"

"Her son's woth the charity case. Or, made he was. "

I be very straight forward. Black cats are considered lucky to me. I never thought that black cats were all that evil. But I completely forgot that Jason hates them. So, walking into the apartment, the small little creature purring in my hands- DAMMIT IT SO CUTE! - Jason didn't let it go for a second. First, it was how it would leave a trail of fur everywhere. Then how it would claw everything to shit. Finally, he just accepted the little guy and held. And that got him.

"Fuck. I hate you. I can't say no to this little face now. Its eyes are blue." Petting the small kittne under its chin. He let it go and looked at me. "Found a name yet?"

I shrugghed, falling into the couch. "Nah. What you have in mind? I was thinking Ely."

"Ely? What fuckery. Midnight, thats it name."

"Hello. I mean, hell no. Ely as in Eletric, you know. For the eletric blue eyes. Dumbass."

He pulled my hair and sat down, turning on the tv. "No need for names."

"And no need to pull hair. Go back! What was that on the news?" The screen flashed for a second as the news came back on. Altercation at Key Beach leads to Young Woman found unconscious at the scene. A picture of Lillia flashed on the screen, followed by a crashed car.
