A young boy enters a barber shop and the barber whispers to his customer,
"This is the dumbest kid in the world. Watch while I prove it to you."
The barber puts out a dollar bill in one hand and two quarters in the other, then calls the boy over and ask, "Which one do you want, son?" The boy takes the quarters and leave.
"What did I tell you?" said the barber. "That kid never learns!" Later, when the Customer leaves, he sees the same young boy coming out of the ice cream store.
"Hey, Son! May I ask you a question? Why did you take the quarters instead of the dollar Bill?"
The boy licked his cone and replied, "Because the day I take the dollar, the game is OVER!"
I love this quote/mini story. Intelligence is a Weapon. Use it wisely.
I woke up to find a pair of electric blue eyes inches away from my face.
"Holy shit!" I pushed Jason off me, him falling on the floor, laughing.
"Morning Nymph!" He yelled, climbing back on the bed and bouncing.
"A Nymph? You call me a Nymph."
"Greek goddess. Chillax."
"What happened to you?"
"Oh. You don't know yet." He stopped bouncing. His smile grew wider. "There's a specific few days that your supposed to get to bond with your advisory group, so the school ends the week off on Thursday and on Friday, whatever you and your group planned to do on Friday, you do it."
I though back to when Thomas was yelling about a camping trip at the beach, which I ignored and just nodded along, listening to my headphones.
"Okay. So?"
Jason began to bounce on the end of the bed again. "Todays Thursday! COME ON! GET READY! I'm leaving at seven o'five. You got an hour. Lets go!"
After showering and quickly pulling a pair of light blue skinny jeans and a gray pullover hoodie with a Blueish gray Eternity Scarf around my neck and a pair of Grunge Boots, I walked out, letting my hair fall down my shoulders. I grabbed my bag and an apple and walked out the door. I slid into the car and bit my apple.
"So this is just to get acquainted? Nothing else, right?"
Jason glanced over to me. "What are you thinking about? No, Lyle can't go with your advisory."
I blushed. "What are you talking about?"
"Wel all know. Well, just the football group. I don't think anyone else knows, so, yeah."
I mentally slapped myself. They saw me kiss him. What if anyone else knew? Would it cause problems? Would I be pulled into the "Dumb Bitch" group? What-
"Hey, we've been sitting here for about a minute. You getting out?" I looked around and saw the school. I quicky cleared my head and headed out the car. I noticed Jason, who stopped half way into the walk towards the front door and stiffened.
"Whats wron...." I looked in the direction he was looking. Leigh was inches away from some guy. He had brownish blonde hair. Her hand was by his belt buckle and the other around his neck. The guy just stood there stunned, unable to move. She turned around and smirked, then smashed her lips into his. Jason quickly walked past the two, the guy still in shock. I looked over to her, my eyes hard and cold.
"I- uhh- wha- c- can I go?"
She pushed the boy away, her eyes never leaving me. I glared down on her, my anger skyrocketing faster the closer she got. The guy watched as she walked over to me.
