Dream's Pov:
I open my phone after getting home from picking up patches from my mom's house.

Gogy
d: Hey, you busy?
g: Nope, what's up?
d: Just wanted to see if you wanted to stream tonight.
g: I was actually going to start getting ready for bed.
d: Oh
d:It's fine then. Before you head to bed, wanna talk on discord?
g: Sure but not for too long.
d: Alright, I'll call you right now.

I hear the noise of discord announcing that some joined the call.
"Hello?"
The sound of George's voice fills the call.
"Hey"
"So, how was your day?"
"It was alright, I didn't do too much, just went to go pick up patches from my mom's house. What'd you do today?"
"I was on Karl's stream for a while playing Jackbox."

After asking George what he'd done today, we talked about such dumb stuff but managed to make each other laugh with our childish jokes. While we were talking, George took a quick pause and said he would have to excuse himself for a second cause he had to go to the bathroom.

"Hey, I'll be right back, I'm gonna go to the bathroom really quick."
"Ok, I'll be here."

After just a couple minutes, I hear him open his room door. He puts his headset back on and his microphone picks up the sound of his humming.

"Dude, really?"
"What?"
"Why are you humming after using the bathroom. That's what dads do."
"Shut up. It's cause this one song has been in my head all day."
"Oh ok. Well, what song?"
"Oh it's just this one song."
"Come on, you practically were singing for me. Just tell me the name of the song."
"I don't know if you've heard of it. It's called High Enough."
"Doesn't seem to ring a bell. Who's it by?" George sounded hesitant to tell you. As if he thought you would make fun of him if he told you.

"By K.Flay"
"I guess I'll have to listen to this song that's been stuck in your head.
"ok"

We talk for another half hour before I hear a yawn leave George's mouth.

"You should get some sleep. Wouldn't want you to be tired for our stream tomorrow."
"We're streaming tomorrow?"
"Yeah, so don't make any plans. Talk to you tomorrow. Love you gogy."
"Shut up." he says with a chuckle.
The call ends.

Before leaving my computer to start getting ready to go to bed, I remember George's humming.
Damn it, what was the name of that song?
I typed in the word High since that was all you remember from what he told you. Lucky for me, it was the fifth search suggestion.

Now, what was it that made this song stick with George?

I click the first video and wait for my 10 second ad to finish. As soon as the video begins, the beat of the song is something I wouldn't usually listen to but it was surprisingly good.

Within the first 20 seconds, you hear the lyrics to the song level out all of the background music.

I don't like anyone better than you, It's true
I'd crawl a mile in a desolate place with the snakes, just for you

The way that the beat seemed to compliment the vocals, seemed to make you feel a certain way. For some odd reason, this song made if feel like one of those movie scenes.

It was like the type of song that plays when the two main characters lock eyes and one grabs the other by the hips and kisses them with a tender and passionate feeling.

What was the meaning behind why George liked this song so much? Did he have the same first impression as me? Was he thinking about him and someone else having this movie moment in real life? Why did this make you feel a different type of way?
