Wildcard's POV:

Everyone exited my room, even y/n, to go eat breakfast. "So, why were you looking for me again?" Y/n asks. "I forgot to do my math homework." Noodles says blurted out. She laughs. "It's ok, I'll help you." She says. Noodles and y/n quickly finished breakfast to go do noodles' home work.

As I start eating my breakfast, I see y/n and noodles sitting CLOSE together while they finish their homework. They were laughing and smiling, and I think I got, a little jealous. Just a little. Facemaker looks at me and notices that i was getting mad. "Hey, don't worry. The same thing is happening to me." He says as he points to A Capella and wheels laughing.

"I guess we're handling the same situation right now, huh?" I say. "Yep." He says. It starts to get awkward real fast, so I just stand up and start getting changed in my room. It was 8:48 and it was time to go to the bus to go to school. As I walk out of my room, I still see y/n and noodles smiling and giggling, so I remind them that they need to go on the bus.

"Oh right." Y/n says. "Y/n, can I sit next to you on the bus today since you sat with guppy yesterday?" I ask. "Oh, sorry wildcard, but I still need to help noodles with his homework." Y/n says acting sorry. "Oh, ok." I say disappointed. Suddenly, y/n starts to hold noodles' hand. HIS HAND, and they teleport out of the room. Y/n never did that with me.

I storm out of HQ in anger as I walk to the bus. I sit in the back by myself. I look at y/n, and she was still laughing. She had never been that happy when she was with me. I start to feel a little disappointed in myself, like I failed in life. We arrive at Middle Brooke and I get off the bus. Thank goodness y/n wasn't holding noodles' hand anymore.

We finally went into the school, and suddenly, y/n hugs noodles for no reason. I started getting mad now. Then, out of the blue, I feel a gosh of water on my face. I looked to my right and it was guppy. "Calm down wildcard!" She says. I laugh. As y/n was walking away, I wanted to ask her if she needed any help, but she just teleported somewhere.

"Shoot, I forgot she could do that." I said. I frowned a little bit since she didn't say bye to me, or hug me yet. Suddenly, she teleports back and hugs me. "Sorry, I forgot your hug." She says while looking up at me. I smile at her. Then, she teleports again. I actually felt a little happier after that.

~Time skips to lunch~

I come out of my math class and go to lunch. I see y/n without her crutches and I start worrying about her, so I walk towards her and her table. "Y/n, where are your crutches?" I ask. "Oh, well I don't need them anymore." She assured me. "Don't you remember I learned how to teleport?" She asks. "Yea, she doesn't need you anymore." A Capella says. "What?" I say furious. "To help her?" She continues.

"Oh, right... but I'm just worried about her." I say back. "Um, wildcard. Can I talk to you for a sec?" Y/n asks. "Sure!" I cheer. She teleports near the entrance of the outside area. I teleport where she is. She crosses her arms uncertainly. "So, what do you need me for?" I ask. She looks at me then looks down. "Do you love me?" She asks. "Of course I do y/n, why wouldn't I?" I say worried. "That's the point." I act confused.

"I believe you "love me" too much." She says. "Wh- what do you mean?" I stutter. "I mean, you're super overprotective of me." She says. "You worry about me even though I'm fine!" She continues. "But, I only worry cau-" "Cause you're my best friend! I know!" She mourned. "And I'm grateful for it you know that. You're like...the brother I never had." She smiles.

My smile instantly fades. "But, people have been noticing you changing, for me, I guess." I cross my arms. "I mean, when I came back to HQ, both rewind and facemaker came and talked to me privately. They said that your mood just changed right before you went to school."

"When?" I ask. "On Tuesday!" She says. "Wait, I thought today was Tuesday." I say back. "No? Today is Wednesday." I turn confused. "Man, I think that needle really got you good." She says. "But, back to the point. I think we should...take a break." "What?" I grieved. "It's not you, it's me. Gosh I sound like a dramatic movie character." She continues. "And it would just be for a couple of days!"

Y/n's POV:

"But, that's longer than 8 hours." He complains. I laugh a little, but then remember I'm supposed to be serious. "I know, but, I think it would be the best." I smile and hug him. I quickly realizes and I stop hugging him. "Starting now." I say. I walk to the lunch table again, trying not to get emotional, but I just couldn't help it, and I felt a tear roll down my cheek. I teleported over to the table that the girls were at and grabbed my backpack quickly, then teleported to where wildcard is.

I look up at him, he looked sad, disappointed at himself. I've never seen him be like this, I wanted to just hug him, but I already gave my word. Before I started to cry hysterically, I quickly teleported out of there.

Wildcard's POV:

"What the heck just happened?" I ask in confusion. I walk over to the table where Fast Forward, A Capella, and Missy were at. "Hey. What happened to y/n?" A Capella asks. "Did you break her heart?!" Missy questions sternly, almost killing the poor boy. "No, actually. She did it to me." I mourn. Their eyes widened.

"Sh- she did this t- to you?" Fast Forward asks while stuttering. I nod. "Woah, who knew she could do that." She says again. "It's like we broke up, but we weren't really dating." I cried. "Wait, you guys weren't official?"
A Capella asks. "Yea....?"

"ARE YOU SERIOUS?!?!"
They say, calmly.

"But, she literally said "I love you" to you!"
A Capella cries. "I never say that to my brother!" Fast Forward yells. "Well, except on that one time we were captured by aliens, but that's not the point!" "Wait, you don't say that to your siblings?" I ask again. "NOOOO!" They yell in unison. "That's just weird!" Missy states, her eyes widened and she looks towards me. "You say that to your siblings?" She yells as she acts surprised.

"No! I'm an only child!" I say back. They sigh in relief. A sweet sense of silence comes over to them, as the other people eating their lunch looks at them weirdly. A few seconds in and, "Well?" Fast Forward asks. "Go!" She says again. She pushes me out of my chair. "Go talk to her!" "But- but she told me that we needed a break!" I told her. "She told you that she loved you, so...do you love her back?" She asked me again.

"Yes! Of course but-" "Then go!!" She yells again. I start to smile. "Go! Get her!" I start to run off looking for y/n. "Go ge- get him lover boy!" A Capella yells uncertain. Missy looks at
A Capella shocked. "What? I was just following Fast Forward!" She says.
