The Dark Witch's Daughter

Welcome back home

We had just started to walk when Kai came out to us, he layed down so I could get on his back, squeaking when Constantine picked me up he sat me down on Kai's back.
"We need to get you home and Dennis needs medical attention, can you hold on for me please?" He asks me in a soft voice.
"Yes, sorry I'm heavy Kai," I say making him let out a wolf's version of a laugh.
Constantine shifts, nudging Dennis on his back, smiling he gets on his back "thanx I'm really tired."
We get home in no time at all it seems, we head straight to the pack hospital.
Dennis has several lacerations, no broken bones, but is a bit malnourished, other than that he's doing just fine.
I'm fine so I want to go, but before I can get anywhere Lici is on me, I'm in her arms and she is hugging me to death.
"Lici, babe I dont think she can breathe," Ruben says with a smile for me.
As soon as she loosens up I take an exaggerated breath then laugh.  "I'm happy to see you too."
"You were gone for two days!" She voice waves and tears appear in her eyes.
"A day and a half babe," Ruben says, he shuffles over to give me a hug, I return it, but must have held him too hard he hissed.
"Omg are you ok?" I ask letting go of him.
"Yeah I'm just sore mostly," he says.  Then Lici smacks him in the back of the head, "this dummy forgot to put his moonstone back on before he left this morning, and now has four broken ribs."
"Does that mean you moved into his room?" I ask making Lici blush, and Ruben smile and nod.  "Congrats on the shared space, and Ruben maybe you should just leave it on."
"Is that the worst of it? I mean, please tell me that your wounds are the worst anyone suffered," I asked.
The look Lici and Ruben had told me otherwise.  "How many did we lose?" My voice holds my sadness, but I cant cry yet.
"Five people died, two were people that graduated when we did, the other three were older wolves.  One was Old Man Red, he taught us how to fish when we were little," Ruben says.
"Tori, Derick, and Zack are here too," Lici says.
"Where? Are they ok?" I ask them.
"We're right behind you?"
Jumping I turn, there they are, Tori has crutches, Zack has a bandage wrapped around his head, I noticed Derick is favoring his ribs like Ruben is, then Mira comes in with the kids and Mama Nickie.
"I'm home," I say the tears that had been in my eyes fall.
The kiddos all run to hug me, they are crying saying how they were scared for me.  After I kissed the cheeks and hugged each of them, Vee said she was sorry she couldn't keep me safe.
"Vee, sweetie you did as I asked right?" She nods, "then you did all you needed to do.  You kept the kids safe and yourself, you gave me peace of mind it helped me keep my wits about me.  Thankyou so much Vee," I tell her giving her a hug.
She smiles and looks like a boulder has been taken off of her.
Kai walks in holding his son, his mate at his side, "thankyou for bringing me home Kai!" I smile.
"It was my honor future Luna," he nods, "if you'll excuse us my son needs his rest."
"Is he ok?" I ask.
His mate, Allyson says that he is much better and she is so happy to see me unharmed. She seems nice and is soft spoken.
After saying our goodbyes they head home.
Tori makes her way to me, I hug her, "I'm so glad your ok," she says with tears in her eyes.  "Oh guess what?" At my look she smiles, "I'm pregnant!"
"Omg" I almost scream hugging her again making her laugh.
"What's going on?" Constantine asks standing in the doorway with Dennis.
"TORI IS PREGNANT!" I say forgetting to  keep it down for a second.
Laughing he congratulates her, the guys not knowing who Dennis is look like want to get in his face, till Derick comes in with Serena helping him, sees Dennis and welcomes him.
"This is my Mate," Constantine says with pride making Dennis blush.
"He also helped me, keeping me safe and making sure I had food," I say.
Everyone welcomed him to the family, and thanked him for keeping me safe.
With watery eyes he thanks us for letting him be part of the family, knowing how things had been for him I'm so happy that he will now be loved like he should be.

Roman's POV

We just got to the pack hospital when my mate comes walking out with our family behind her.  Good thing I stopped to put on some shorts from one of the spots we keep spare close, cause now I can kiss her without flashing the family.
I walk up to Ivy and kiss her deeply, my dad clearing his throat LOUDLY interrupts me, breaking our kiss with an annoyed grunt I turn to him, Ivy just let's out a breathy laugh.
"Let's go make dinner, tonight we will all recoup, then tomarrow we will honor those we lost.  We will have a party to celebrate their lives, to show that we were honored to have know them."  Not only did dad tell us, he sent it out to everyone over mind link.
Mom pulled Ivy into a hug, "what do you wanna eat sweetie?"
"Lasagna with meatsauce and chicken and mashed potatoes," she says with a blush.
"That sounds so good, oh and mac n cheese!" Mom says with a dreamy smile making us laugh.
"Sauteed mushrooms sound good too!" Tori says.
"Ooh yeah!" The girls say.
When we get to the pack house some of our pack members are making us food, and it looks like what the girls were saying too.  "You didn't have to do that," Ivy says.
"We're happy to have you back, it's our pleasure to do this for you, not to mention, yourselflessness gave our kids time to hide, you along with miss Vee saved our kids," one of our pack members said who's helping make the food.
"Thankyou everyone," I say.
After the food is finished cooking they let us know.  They placed it all on the big dinning table, they even did other side dishes.  It was Spectacular, I was so stuffed when I finished.
After we finished eating, Ivy was so tired we excused ourselves and I took her home.  When we got to our room she wanted to take a shower, but is so tired she asked me to help her.
"Babe, you know I will love to get my hands on you!" I wink at her making her laugh.
After our shower, she pulls on one of my shirts and some shorts, yawning big she rolls into he spot and is out.  I put our dirty clothes in the hamper, put on some boxers and go climb into bed, turning off the bedside lamp I turn to Ivy and hold her close, smelling her scent and listening to her steady breathing.

Yeah *sigh* we can breathe again. 

When I sighed Ivy wiggled closer to me, closing my eyes I fall asleep.
