It's been a few days since Roman's meeting and hes acting on edge. He told Zack and Tori to start training me every day. He also asked Lici and the girls to sleep over at my place when he couldn't be with me. My Tia comes in from taking out the trash and asks me, "did Roman mention something happening? Or why he would put patrols on our house?" "He did what?" I ask perplexed. "There are wolves patrolling our woods here," she says jestering towards the backyard. "No he has mentioned anything, but he has been acting on edge a bit I'll have to have a talk with him tonight," in getting worried what's going to happen. "I don't know if you noticed or not but do you feel the charge in the air? Like something is coming?" She asks with a thoughtful look. "Now that you mention it yes, I thought it was just some foreboding I was feeling, I just don't know where it's coming from," I say. "You need to see what he knows," her tone worried. "In the mean time I think we should put a protection spell over our land just in case," she turns for the materials we will need. I take this time to shoot off a text. Why a text well because if hes in a meeting or something he will answer a text before he does a call.
Me: is something going on?

🐺❤: ok yes something is off, I'm not exactly sure what but Luca and I dont like whatever it is. The patrols are just a precaution, we dont like the thought of you and your Tia being unprotected I will explain more tonight I got to go baby I love you be safe till I'm with you😘
Me: ok babe I love you too and right back at cha your my❤😘
Putting my phone in my back pocket of my jeans I turn to my Tia with a worried look. "K let's get this done," I say she nods.
An hour later, we had finished the protection spell and just started to make dinner when the bell rang. "I'll get it," I tell my Tia and head for the door. Roman kisses me as soon as I open the door, sending electric warmth into my body. Resting his head against mine, we just lean on to each other for a minute. "Hi," I say in a soft voice. "Hey baby, I've missed you," he says in a soft voice as well. "Come on in, we just started making dinner," I smile at him. Taking his hand I lead the way to the kitchen, "Hi Tia Willow!" Roman smiles and gives her a hug. "Hello son, I know you just got here but can you please tell us what has the pack on edge maybe we can help?" Tia asks in return her eyes concerned. Nodding his head he takes a seat at the table. We sit as well once all the prep work is finished. I take his hand hoping to ease his mind, his answering smile tells me I succeeded. "Have you ever heard of nomadic packs?" He asks us, I shake my head while my Tia says, "I have heard the name once but I doesn't really know anything on how the differ from rogues." "This pack just doesn't like to stay in one spot, they tend to stay up in Canada most of the time, but sometimes they wonder. I guess I'm on edge because their Alpha just passed away and his son has taken over, I'm not sure how he plans on running the pack. Luca doesn't trust him, we had met him before and he gives us bad vibes," Roman says. He starts playing with his moonstone that I gave him, I guess it's like a comfort thing cause he's spaced out. Turning to my Tia I ask her if she can help me get the ingredients I will need to make moonstones for the rest of the family and those I hold dear to me. If hes that worked up I want to do this to help put our minds at ease if I can. After dinner Roman decides to stay over, my Tia heads to bed while we do the dishes. "So how was training today babe?" Roman asks. "Good, Tori still kicks my ass," I laugh, "but Zack says I'm improvising quickly." Roman chuckles, "that's good." He leans his head on the back of mine holding me from behind. "Have I told you how much I love your smell?" He says while sniffing my hair. Smiling I turn around wrapping my arms around his neck, "you may have said so a time or two, yes." He kisses the tip of my nose, making me scrunch it. Chuckling his eyes turn serious, "Ivy, will you marry me? Before you freak out," he rushes to say before I can even think of answering, "I know that its probably too soon to ask, but I know you're it for me. I can't even remember what life was like without you, you make me feel complete. If you want we can get married years from now and have a long engagement. It's just, I want to know if you would consider it?" He says. I don't think I've ever seen him so nervous since I've met him, taking his face in my hands I kiss him softly but with so much passion. "Yes you goof, I will marry you, your the other half of my soul, I'm so thankful the Goddess paired us together, yes Luca ofcourse you are included," Roman's eyes flashed a molten gold, smiling my eyes watered as I continued. "I love you so much," my voice catches at the end, a tear escapes my eye and he brushes it away with his thumb. Surprising me he pulls a ring out of his pocket, its beautiful.

"Omg!" I start to cry, laughing he puts the ring on my finger, then kisses me stupid. "What's with the yelling?" My Tia's sleepy voice asks. Turning I show her my ring, "I'm engaged!" I say with exuberance. Her smile is blinding, "its about time!" We start dancing in the kitchen making Roman laugh. Later when we lay down for bed he is still chuckling a bit, "thankyou beautiful," he says into my hair. "For what baby?" I ask tiredly. "Everything babe, everything," he kisses my head telling me to sleep and in seconds I'm out.
