You're a what?

"So how do you know about us already?" Ruben asks.
My stomach growls making me blush, "umm do you mind if we get food first?" I ask. Not waiting for an answer I turn and get in line for my food. Once I get my pizza, french fries, and tea I head to a table off to the back corner.
Roman sits beside me on my left, Lici to my right and Ruben sits next to Lici, but pulls his chair a little to the right to glare at me better. I go ahead and start the conversation with "so read any good books lately?" Completely ignoring the elephant in the room.
Lici takes the bait but returns my question back at me "have you?" She wiggles her eyebrows. Laughing I nod, "yep several infact."
Sadly, my reprieve has come to an end when Ruben can't take it anymore, "HOW THE HELL DO YOU KNOW ABOUT US?" he whisper yells at me.
The deep growl next to me is instantaneous, "DONT TALK TO MY MATE THAT WAY," Roman's voice is deep and dangerous, the fact that his eyes have turned completely black is a sign his wolf is very pissed.
I reach out and touch his forearm, he turns to me and I smile at him, his eyes bleed back to their original green after a few minutes.
Turning to face Ruben I answer the question that they have been waiting for. "My Tia is a light witch, she raised me to be respectful of the other supernaturals and also learn their basic customs."
"So you're a light witch?" Lici asks. "No, not yet I'm still only an apprentice, once I finish my studies then I will be," I say.
The chair next to Roman screeches out turning I see a girl, she has long dark brown hair that is done in soft curls and fair skin that is just darker than mine. She sets down her food and sits she turns to talk to Roman when she notices me for the first time, I give her a shy smile about to introduce myself when she speaks first, "Who the hell are you?" I don't even get to answer, Roman is growling once again and this time looks to be yelling at her over mindlink because she turned back to him so fast. I watch as her eyes widen slightly then her green eyes flash to mine, "she's your mate?" She asks in I'm not sure but I think it my be disbelief.
I give her a small wave and place my hand on Roman again because he's still agitated. He calms at once, still wondering if she has a problem with me, I receive my answer when she breaks out in a huge smile.
"I'm sorry, it's just last year he had so many girls bugging him it irritated the hell out of all of us," she explains. "Hi I'm his twin sister, Mira it's nice to meet you."
"Hi my name is Ivy Littlewood it's nice to meet you," I introduce myself. After that we eat and talk in piece, Roman keeps an arm on the back of my chair the whole time. I had my suspicions about Ruben confirmed, he's a pack warrior. He's actually nice it's just because I was an unknown that he was being cautious about me and mildly hostile.
Lici said once she graduates she wants to study to be a pack doctor. She said, "Ruben always seems to get into trouble or hurt in some way, this way I can fix his wounds."
"Lici, baby you wound me!" he grabs his heart in dramatic fashion making us laugh and Lici perse her lips.
Then the bell rings, "UGH, I have to go to class Mira moans dropping her head."
Laughing Roman ruffles her hair earning himself a slap, "have fun little sister!" he teases.
"You're not that much older than me Roman, you're just stupid book smart," Mira tells him as she heads out.
"I like her! shes funny," I tell nobody in particular.
"Yeah when she's not annoying you," Roman grumbles.
I laugh, "spoken like a true older brother or at least ones I've seen." That earns me a smirk, we all grab our stuff and head out as well. Roman and the others are done with school for the day, same as me, he offers to drive me home, but I have my car so I decline.
"I'll see y'all tomorrow I say waving but before I can close my door Roman leans in and kisses me on the cheek. "See you tomorrow," he whispers in my ear sending shivers down my spine. Smiling he walks to his car. Why not kiss my lips? You may ask, it may because I told him no funny business, or to through me off guard and if that's the case its working.
