^ This was literally my face when i finished typing up the last chapter last night. original plan was to post them throughout the week but i was too excited so just decided to post it all anyway.
Now I know the blissful feeling of actually finishing a story.
I wanted to say a massive Jazakumullahu Khairan to you all for giving this story a chance and accompanying me through this journey. This was my first ever story, so the quality wasn't very good.❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤ *throws out virtual cookies and confettis*
I had intended it sort of like vignette style, that's why I didn't go into too much detail about everything. And I know my writing like changed styles in between quite a few times since I'm still experimenting on what works for me ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
For the last chapter where Aiyla regained her sight, it might seem a bit out of place, but I have actually researched into it. It's something called Psychosomatic blindness, where a person loses their sight due to psychological reasons. There's also Psychosomatic paralysis, I read a case study where a man started to become paralysed after retirement due to feeling useless, and he didn't even realise how he was feeling and how it affected his body.
So, while I can't fully say Aiyla's continued blindness after surgery and subsequent regaining of it is completely scientific and is possible, that above is my basis for it.
I hope you have learn something from this humble little story, and once again, much heartfelt gratitude for accompanying me throughout 🖤
