Finding her was one thing, but knowing where to look with no leads was more difficult than he'd believe it to be.

"I can't waste any time...but I don't know anything. What specific reason would they even need her? It would have been one thing if she were just used as a hostage against the Port Mafia...an ability user- that must be it. People like us are always wanted. if that's the case, then this isn't good. If they find that she isn't useful right now then they might do something harsh... Damn it, what do I do?"

It had only been 30 minutes since Dazai left the doctors' mansion and his team behind on the order they find the targets. The entire time since he departed was nothing more than constantly thinking of what to do and how to do it. He was left stumped until his black leather oxfords hit the side of the mafia building.

Slowly looking up, his eyes met the familiarity of the place, and an idea popped into his mind. Was it a good one? Not especially, but he didn't have much of a choice. He wasn't aware of what to do and it pissed him off.

He found this whole situation troublesome and confusing. Dazai Osamu, #1 executive in ranking was famous throughout the entire organization. His name alone brought many to their knees. Never was he found anything less than a superior to his subordinates, and never was he found with the emotions he felt now.

The reason? It's because they all knew his darkness. Terrifying to the core that they had to step back before it captured them. They knew he was the least to hold petty feelings that would get in the way.

But here he is now, walking into the main doors up to Mori's office front with eyes that held something never seen before: concern.

Knocking on the door calmly, painting the frantic feelings within, he took a few seconds before entering to tranquilize his jumpy self and fix his eyes.

"I see you have returned Dazai. I'd assume everything was successful, but I know you. Seems like there was a problem this time?"

Sitting behind his desk with the back of his hands supporting his chin, Mori turned away from the view beyond the glass towards the boy.

"Give me (Y/N)'s folder"

"Doubt in your student?"

"No. She was taken during the mission. The Ichikawas that were meant to be executed today managed to escape. They were supported by an amateur gang as suspected."

"You really have become quite fond of her, haven't you? You aren't one for saving." He says with a smirk.

"Of course not. They spoke of needing her for something specific, and by their hostility towards us, we cannot take any chances of them using her."

"I see, so you want to bring her back so they don't do anything concerning," Mori says.

'A smart boy he is, but quite dense as well' he thinks as looks down at his desk.

He slid a beige-colored folder to the edge of the desk towards Dazai who raised an eyebrow at the sight of it.

"I just was looking over something out of interest. Don't worry," The boss states.

Dazai knew Mori, and he knew him quite well enough to realize over time how he never did anything unless there was a purpose to it. And with that cause, a lot of his words are inaccurate or distorted. However, this wasn't a time to go and play detective.

He was in need of any information that could help him find (Y/n).

And so he picked up the folder and began flipping through pages.
