// Guess who has returned from the dead haha- yeah me. I really am sorry for going away for so long. I especially want to apologize to the people who commented and messaged me when I would post another chapter. I had a lot of issues in my life these past months and when I finally was able to come back to this, I really lost all my creativity and didn't have the mental capability to be able to do this. I'm back now and I really hope I can be as frequent as before! Thank you for waiting for so long!
//IMPORTANT: I made a discord server for my readers if any of you want to join. I just thought it would be fun and cool to meet new people, so if you want to then I'll have the link posted on my page. Now let's go on with the awaited story!
I never thought that one day out of nowhere I would be forced to leave my home and family. Never in the slightest would it occur to me that this is how life would turn out for me, but it did. Even now, the memories of the current events seemed to replay in my mind quickly enough to the point it was just a bur. It's only been a week in the mafia and I can't say it's something I'll be able to handle. Like I NEVER done this much physical activity since the 3rd grade when I made it a habit to be the first person on the playground before the other kids took my slide. If they did I would push them off...the second level. I mean it's okay, it's not like they died or anything. They just didn't move for like 20 mins-
MOVING ON-
So far being in the mafia I've only met the boss, Dazai, and Riku. Spending most of my time so far with Dazai, I think he seems like a nice person...ONLY if you look past his sadistic teaching skills. Besides that, I would say he's not too bad. Riku also seems like a good person, I mean personality-wise. You technically aren't a good person if you kill people...but I can't judge her or really anyone.
Anyway, I really hope things work out. I am a bit skeptical about what's to come in the future, but a lot of crazy things happened so far. I shouldn't be surprised if things were to turn that way somewhat more. In a way, I'm kind of excited and interested even if there is a big part of me that's scared. Let's stop talking about my life story and go back to Riku though. I'm with her as we speak.
I only met her a few days ago when I first arrived, where she told me out of nowhere that she was going to take me out for what she called a "much need makeover." Thanks Riku, I REALLY appreciate that...Here we are now spending the day together. She took me shopping first for some new clothes since I obviously needed them and then followed with a trip to a cute café. Now against my will, I am being dragged to the spa. Yay!
Yeah no.
As much as I really don't want to, I won't say anything about it. After all, it seems like she really wants to go, and plus she really did a lot for me that I am grateful for. This is the least I can do... and as much as I do not want to admit it, I most likely look like a dusty crusty musty rat. The makeover might be for the best. Warehouse life just didn't do it for me.
"We're almost there (Y/N)!" Riku says in her loud cheerful voice to me as she looks back at my face in our sprint with her hand gripped on my wrist.
"Is there really a need to run though..?"
"Nope! I just wanna get there soon."
I sigh and just let the girl do her since it was the least I can do. I'd rather not have any unnecessary guilt if possible thank you. Lost in my thoughts, I didn't realize that the two of us had come to a straight stop at the spa front. The girl next to me would mutter a few inaudible words before pulling me past the doors and into the building.
Me who has never been to a place like this looked around curiously, examing the surroundings and people near. There was this pleasant aroma of lavender that seemed to mix with the smell of steam causing the air to have a fresh scent, but a sticky feeling.
Riku would walk up to the front desk without me and then converse with the employee by the desk. The woman nodded after a few seconds and then turned her head to a doorway to the left of us. With a single hand, she pointed in the direction we needed to go and so we did. The two of us would politely bow first before moving a couple of steps to a set of doors. It took a push from both of us to let us go through and be faced o faced with a huge hot spring.
"Ahh, isn't this exciting right?" Riku asks me.
"Yeah, it is."
"Now let's strip and go," She says with no shame while giggling.
"I-"
Okay, girl hold up, I've known you for what, like a few hours-
Riku removes the clothes on her body and wraps a bath towel around her.
"Come on (Y/N)!"
I stood there for a second with a fairly light and unnoticeable blush on my cheeks not knowing what to do or how to feel about this, but I decided to just ignore it. I did the same as the other female and replaced the clothes I was wearing a bath towel around me. When we were both ready, Riku would swiftly enter while I just took my time.
"Woww, it feels so nice! It feels like forever since I've been able to have enough free time for this." She tells me.
"Hey, Riku.."
"What is it (Y/N)?"
"I know this is coming out of nowhere...but do you think I'll be okay? I know it is a stupid question, I just wanted to know what you think since you have been in the mafia for so long." I looked down at my hands, fidgeting with them out of random nervousness that seemed to come for no reason.
"I haven't known you for long or even at all, so I can't say for sure, but I don't think you have to worry. All you have to do is do what you're told and not piss anyone there off. Simple enough"
"Oh wow thanks for the help, I really appreciate it," I say sarcastically.
"Haha, but besides that, you have me now and Dazai. We'll look out for you. Sooner or later you're going to meet new people and you'll be able to tell that you don't have anything to worry about. Even if everything seems unfamiliar and just scary, I think you'll fit in fine so cheer up girl!"
"Is that so..?" A small smile came upon my face as I heard the words that she let out from her mouth.
That makes me feel better...but I know nothing will fall into place if I don't do my part.
"YAHHHHHH!!" I screamed out while slapping my cheeks twice with both hands.
"What THE?!" Riku jumps upstanding and then slips fully into the water.
"Ah! I'm sorry, I'm sorry, are you okay?!" I ask her as she resurfaced.
Not gonna lie I almost laughed, but I am MATURE so I didn't... HAHAHAHHAHA
"Haha, I'm perfectly fine, but it seems like you made some sort of decision right?"
"I think I'm ready. This is just how it's going to be from now on so it's time I grow up and get used to it."
After all, it doesn't seem too bad right now.
"I'm glad for you, but don't grow up too fast." She stretches her hand out to me while giving one of her powerful smiles.
"Welcome to the Port Mafia (L/N) (Y/N)." I take her hand in mine and shake it with a happy expression on my face.
"It's great to be here"
