8. Grumpy morning

I wake up being grumpy as always. I hate mornings, I just want to sleep. I was woken by noises from downstairs. 'Ugh' I groan. I look around me to find Emily but she isn't here, just her bed with all the blankets thrown over. I have my penguin stuffed animal in my hands and try to mentally prepare myself to go out of the bed. Why do they have to be up this early? And why for god sake are they being so loud? God I'm grumpy. How late is it anyway? I grab my iPhone to see that it's already 12. 'Aw shit' I curse. I see that I have got a text from Cameron, what the hell does he wants? He better be not annoying cause I just woke up.

'Cameron: Hey since we are doing that History project together, when are we going to make it?'

Ugh... why is he asking this right now. I quickly reply.

'Zoey: I don't know, I'm on vacation right now so I'll text you when I know it'

'Cameron: Okay have a nice vacation hottie'

'Zoey: Fuck off'

Wow that was harsh of me but yeah he deserves it. I make my why downstairs to go see the boys and Emily, not noticing that I'm still wearing my pajamas and my glasses.

When I walk into the living room I see Ashton, Calum and Michael all on top of each other doing weird things, what the fuck is happening? I also see a tired Luke half asleep on the couch and an amused Emily filming the boys. This is going to be fun...

'Hey sleepy head you finally woke up' Mike said to me opening his arms to hug me.

'Mike you better not, she is so grumpy in the mornings she will kill you' Emily said. Mike immediately pulled his arms away.

'Well Luke you're not the only one who's grumpy' Ashton said.

Luke was half asleep on the couch and woke up.

'What? Why did you wake me?' Luke asked irritated.

'Just to say that you and Zoey are always grumpy in the mornings' Cal says.

Luke and I look at each other.

'No I'm not' You both say at the same time and laugh.

'Sure you don't' Emily says to the both of us.

'I'm going to eat breakfast' I say. Cal looks at me as if I'm crazy.

'You are going to eat breakfast? You probably mean lunch' Cal laughed at me.

'Sshh I don't care' I said.

'Let's just go to Starbucks' Emily said.

'Yeah okay just wait till I get ready'

'Okay' They answered, and I headed upstairs again. I'm looking trough my clothes and I can't decide what to wear. Maybe my red top? nah. My skinny jeans? Nah. Before I know it I've thrown all my clothes on the floor.Then I see my 'I love sundays' tee and put it on with a skirt and my withe all-stars. I also have a nirvana bracelet around my hand and brush my hair. (see pic for the whole outfit). I take a last look of myself in the mirror and then go downstairs.

'I'm ready' I say.

'Okay are we going to walk or are we going with the car?' Cal asked.

'Let's walk so we can socialize a bit more haha.' Ashton says.

'Okay let's go then' Emily says.

We are walking trough our street, it's a ten minute walk.

'Can we please walk a little bit faster I haven't have breakfast' Luke says.

'Yeah me neither' I say.

'Wow you two really have a lot in common, You like penguins, you are grumpy in the mornings and you both are always hungry' Emily says and everyone starts laughing except me and Luke.

'When are we going to play soccer Zoey?' Michael asked.

'We can do it after we come back from Starbucks' I say.

'Good idea, ready to lose?' He asks.

'Zoey isn't the one who is gonna lose Mike' Calum said and laughed.

'Shut up Calum' Mike says.

'Let's play it all together are you guys in?' I ask.

'Yup' Ash says.

'Hell yeah' Calum says.

'Only if I'm in the team with Zoey cause I don't want to lose' Luke says.

'Hahaha sure Luke' I say. This is like one of the rare moments that Luke talks to me.

'And you Emily?' Ashton asks.

'Um I'm not really good at soccer but I'll try' She says.

'No worries, I'm also bad at soccer' Ash says to reassure her.
