17. Crying

The taxi arrives and we get in. I'm full of tears, even though I don't want to cry. I don't want to cry over a stupid as boy who thinks he is amazing. I feel so stupid for falling so hard for him. I needed to slow down I know it was to good to be true.

Calum is holding me trying to cheer me up.

"Don't worry Zoey, he isn't worth it, you are so much better!" He says.

"No I'm not! I'm so stupid Cal! I'm sorry to say it but your friend sucks!"

"Yes you are! And I know! That's why I tried protecting you. For a moment I thought he really loved you because he had that look in his eyes when you entered the room, but I guess he step up his game" he said.

"I don't get it! He is such a mommas boy who loves penguins, how could he all of sudden be a jerk?"

"I guess he's just really good in acting" Calum said with a dangerous look in his eyes.

The taxi arrived at the vacation house and we went inside.

I am still crying, even though I'm trying not to. We go to the living rooms and we sit down on the couch.
It's 12:08 night time, I'm so tired.

"Please Zoey don't cry" Cal says.

"I'm sorry, but I don't know normally I didn't care about boys but Luke is so different than the others" I say.

"Yes he is, because he's a dick"

"Cal you can't say that he is one of your best friends" I say.

"I know, but i really want to punch him right now, I'm probably going to"

I laugh.
"I won't stop you" I say.

"Yeah! I made you laugh" he cheers.

"Shut up" I say and smile.

"You actually shouldn't punch him, he is your best friend you have a better connection with him than me anyways" I say.

"Excuse me? Did you really just say that? You and only you are my only best friend! You are an amazing beautiful cool and special girl! Please don't forget that! Luke is a complete asshole!" Cal said.

"... Thank you I think..." I say.

"Come here give me a hug!" Cal says and wraps his arms around me.

"Can we go to bed?" I ask. The tears are dried on my face.

"Sure" he says and wipes the tears away. He brings me to my room and I jump into the bed.

"Will you please stay here with me?" I ask him.

"Of course!" He says and jumps into te bed too. We cuddle next to each other, wanting to forget about what happened today.

Hours passes and when I hear some noises from downstairs I look at my clock. It's 4 am in the night what the fuck? But then I realize it must be the lads. I hear Ashton scream at Luke about something. And Mikey and Emily are heading upstairs to Mikey's room.

Another 5 minutes pass and I hear someone walk on the stairs, he is swearing and I hear it is Luke. Calum wakes up when he hears the door open. It's Luke... he doesn't look happy... he turns on the light and when he sees me and Calum in the same bad his face turns red of anger.

"WHAT THE FUCK CALUM? WHY ARE YOU SLEEPING WITH MY GIRLFRIEND?!" He screams at Calum.

"Luke slow dow...." I try to say but I'm interrupted by Calum.

"Let me handle it Zoey" he says and get out of the bed walking angrily towards Luke.

"WHY THE FUCK DID YOU CHEAT ON MY BEST FRIEND?" Calum said and punched Luke in his face.

"YOU WANT TO FIGHT?" Luke says and kicks Cal on his leg.
They are fighting I'm panicking right now shit! This is going to end very bad.
