7. Cuddling

After we had played truth or dare for hours everyone was sleepy so they went to bed except for me and Cal. I decided to just go have a chat with him.

'Your bandmates are really nice!' I said.

'Thanks Zoey, I didn't know that Emily knows Luke though'

'Me neither, but apparently they are best friends'

'Yeah cool' he said.

'About Luke though...Do you think he hates me?' I asked unsure.

'What? No of course not! Why would he?" He asked as his eyebrows knitted together.

'Well I don't know, he never speaks to me and yeah'

'He is just shy I'm sure he doesn't hate you' he reassured me.

'Well I don't know, but we'll see' I said unsure.

'Yeah well... give me a hug!' Cal said and opened his arms, inviting mine to hold his arms. Cal's hugs are so nice he is so cuddly. We were cuddling for almost half an hour.

'I have really missed you Zoey'

'I have missed you too Cal, school is so much harder without you'

'Aw if anyone is hurting you, know that you are much stronger than them.'

'I love you' I said.

'I love you too' He said.

'How are things with Cameron?' He suddenly asked.

'Weird lately, first he bullies me and now he is flirting with me' I said.

'What? Just promise me that you will never date that guy'

'I promise'

'And if he ever hurts you, please tell me cause I will kick his ass.'

'Hahaha thanks Cal but I can do that myself' You laughed.

'Hahahaha remember that time you kicked him in his balls'

'Yeah haha I was really pissed' I laughed.

It was silent for a moment, in that moment everything seemed perfect, just like when we were little kids. Just me and Cal cuddling on a couch, I have missed this so much but when the vacation ends I have to go away again. I sigh.

'What's wrong?"

'I don't know, I was just thinking about how much I have missed you and that I don't want to go away'

'Aw Zoey don't worry we will also see each other after the vacation'

'I know'

'And by the way we have the whole vacation to be with each other'

'Yeah I just don't want this to end'

'Me neither'

'I'm sorry I'm an emotional wreck'

'Haha no you're not you're just a girl' he joked

'Shut up' I said and cuddled him tighter..

'Zoey I think we need to go to sleep now'

'Ugh I don't want to let you go, let's just sleep here together'

'Good idea'

'Goodnight Cal '

'Goodnight Zoey, love you'

'love you too' I said and closed my eyes.

The whole night I spend thinking about how much I am going to miss Cal when I go away. I need him so much! But I am really happy for him that he became this famous. Why is life so hard?
