13. Talk

We are still sitting in the living room. It 3:00 am already. I want to go to sleep cause I'm so tired! But I also just want to stay with the lads. Luke has been staring at me for almost an hour now. I think it's cute though, but Cal is glaring at him the whole time.
Emily is talking with Mikey and Ash is trying to make Cal laugh. That's not going to happen haha. I don't even know why Cal is glaring at Luke.

'Luke take a photo of her, it will last longer' Ash says.

We all laugh and it seems like Luke didn't hear him.
'Luke! Luke! Luke!' Mikey screams shaking him.
'What?' He asks.
'You've been staring at Zoey for almost an hour.'
He looks up with a blush on his face. He thinks of something to say. Suddenly he replies.
'Yeah I'm just tired sorry.'
Cal laughs, wow that's been a while.
'Everybody knows you've been staring at her you stupid dork.' Cal says.
Luke blushes even more now.
'Don't call me a dork, and I'm sorry I just... She's just so beautiful.' He says
Oh my god did he just say that? Oh I'm blushing way too hard now ugh this is so awkward.
'Don't be so cheesy Luke' Emily says laughing.
'I can't help it, it's the truth' he says.
I just try to not blush a lot cause this is so awkward for me.
'I'm gonna head upstairs and go to sleep' I say.
'No ,why?' Mikey asks.
'I'm just so tired!'
'I'm tired too I'm going with you.' Em says.
'Sleep well!' They say.
'Thanks you too' we reply.
I walk out of the living room and when I close the door Emily turns her face to mine and she starts smirking at me with an huge smile on her face. I decide to just ignore it and walk to our room cause I don't want to talk about the whole Luke thing downstairs cause the boys may hear it.
I open the door of our room and immediately jump into my bed.

'God I'm tired' I say.

'Yeah me too but before you're going to sleep, we have to talk about your date with Luke' Em says.

'Really? What do you want to know?'

'Just what you think of it?'

'Um okay well I think it's cute he asked me out cause I really like him. And I didn't see this coming, cause I thought he hated me.'

'I think it's so cute that my best friend and my best guy friend are going on a date' Em says.

'Haha yeah you think it's cute, but Cal though he didn't seem to be happy for us.'

'Yeah I don't know what's wrong with him but I think he just wants to protect you' she says.

'Yeah I hope so... But it isn't like Luke is a bad boy or something'

'Well, he is different with dating I think, cal knows him the best so maybe he sees it another way'

'Yeah maybe.' I say thinking of what she means with that he is different with dating? Should I question it?
I decide to just let it go.

'So how are things with you and boys?' I ask.

'Um I don't know... There are a lot of hot boys her in LA but I like Michael the most.' She said blushing.

'Aw! That's so cute! Have you been flirting with him?'

'Yeah kinda but he won't take the first step'

'Oh maybe he's just shy, also you can take the first step.'

'No I'm way too pussy for that!'

'Hahaha I would be too. But maybe I can talk to him about you and ask him if he has the balls to ask you out.'

'Oh my god Zoey could you pleasseeee do that?'

'Yes of course! I'll go talk to him in the morning okay?'

'Okay thankyou so much!'

'No prob! But I need to sleep now so see ya tomorrow'

'Sleep well'

'Same to you' I say.
