I woke up to constant vibrating. Picking my head up, I noticed that my phone was ringing. I, tiredly, plopped my hand on top of my phone, answering it and putting it on speaker.

"Hello?" I mumbled.

"Hey, Carmin! Did I wake you?" Jamie asked on the other line.

"Yeah, but it's fine. I needed to get up anyway."

"Okay! Anyway, I was just calling to see if you were still up for tonight."

"Oh, yes, I am definitely up for tonight!"

"That's good! I just need your address."

"Alright, it's twenty 2927 Starlight Ct."

"Got it! I'll be at your place around six! See you then!"

"See you then," I muttered before he hung up. My body laid in the same position it had been when I answered the phone.

Lazily, I got up and plotted over to the bathroom where I took a shower.

As the slowly warming cold water pierced my skin, it became hard for me to breathe. I started gasping for breath and quickly hopped out of the shower. Going through my medicine cabinet, I pulled out an inhaler and used it.

Taking large gulps of air, I pressed my hand onto the marble countertop, the shower still running.

This has become a normal occurrence. Every morning when I take a shower I need to grab my inhaler. I always forget though. Picking the inhaler up, I noticed that it was almost empty. I sighed and put the container down. 'I will need to get a new inhaler soon,' I thought.

Once I had fully caught my breath, I hopped back into the shower having the warm water trickle down my pale skin and then flow into the drain.

Getting out of the shower, I wrapped a towel around my waist and took another to dry my hair with. My hair was an ash blonde. I had a 'hipster' cut as well. Not very many people around here like that cut. I guess that's why it's called what it is.

As I walked out of my bathroom, I heard a knock at the door. Looking down at my towel and then back up, I raised an eyebrow and walked to the door. When I opened it, Jamie stood there.

"Oh, I didn't know you weren't descent! I just came here to see if you would rather stay home or go out. You wouldn't answer you phone, so, sorry if I'm intruding into your life too much," he laughed, scratching the back of his head.

"No, it's fine! Come in," I said, " I just got out of the shower. Let me go get dressed and we can make some plans."

"Sounds like a plan!"

As I was turning around to go to my room, I felt my towel fall to my ankles.

"OhmygodIseenothingIswear!" Jamie yelled behind me, not making any attempt at making what he said understandable. Quickly, I picked my towel up and wrapped it around my body again, trying to play it off as if I didn't care.

"It's fine, we are both guys. It's not like you haven't seen an ass before. Well, probably not as fine as this one," I winked, lightly tapping my butt, trying to laugh off my embarrassment. I heard a chuckle from behind me. Turning around, I noticed that Jamie was blushing. 'Is he? No, he's to hot to be gay,' I thought.

"Alright, I'll go and get dressed. Maybe my towel will not fall off this time," I joked.

"Yea," he laughed," hopefully not."

Walking back into the living room, fully dressed with damp hair, I noticed Jamie looking at pictures of my family and I when I was little.

"That was me when I was seven," I said, starling him.

"Oh, you were a very cute child," he laughed. Walking over and picking the picture up, I stared at my, once, while family. My grandparents. My parents. Uncles. Aunts. My uncles and aunts had forgotten about me basically.

"You know, this was the last picture I had make with my parents." I said, snapping myself out of my thoughts.

"Really?" Jamie asked.

"Yeah, they were murdered a long time ago."

"Oh my gosh! I'm so sorry, Carmin!"

"It's fine," I smiled, " I still remember them. That's all that matters now."

"That's true."

"So where are we going?"

"Well, we can either go to my place, stay here, or go out. It's up to you."

"Hmm, I think it would be nice to stay home, but it's up to you which house."

"How about mine? I have tons of movies and my boy- soon to be ex will not be home tonight. Plus, I can cook like a god," he winked. Laughing, I nodded.

"Two o'clock," Jamie said looking at the wall clock," seems a bit early. We could stay here until six if you would like. Kriss won't be gone until five thirty and he is the 'jealous' type." He put air quotations around "jealous."

"Alright, I think I have a few movies we can watch."

"Oh, what kind?" He excitedly asked, plastering a childish smile on his face.

"I know I have Gnomeo and Juliet and We're the Millers."

"I love both of those movies," he grinned.

"Okay, I'll pop one in, you make yourself comfortable on the couch. As I bent down to put the DVD in the player, I had a constant feeling of Jamie staring at my ass. Looking over my shoulder, I noticed his head turned. He was. I could feel my cheeks heating up a little.

Once I knew the red was gone, I got up and we watched Gnomeo and Juliet together.
