 Chapter 22

KIARA'S P.O.V.

I woke up with a pounding headache. I tried to stand up but it only makes my head ache more than I wanted to. So I groaned out of frustation because of headache.

 I felt someone on the side of my bed sleeping but he's in a sitting position. I let my hands caress his hair making him woke up. That's when I learned that it was Devin.

"morning." he greeted me with a smile but I could see the tiredness in his eyes.

"good morning. Could you get me some medicine cause my head is aching?" I asked him. He just nodded before going to the bathroom to get some medicine.

I waited for him and he got back with the medicine and a glass of water. I thanked him before drinking it.

"feeling better?" he asked worriedly. I smiled at him making him calm a little.

"yup." I answered and then silence engulf us. It's not an awkward one but a calming one. I like this before we heard a knock on my door.

"come in" I said with a tired voice. Shaun's head popped out of the open door.

"hi Kia. How are you?" he asked cheerfully while walking towards me.

"just dandy how about you and where's Selene and the others?" I asked.

"I'm okay. About Selene and the others I don't know they drunk some alcohol last night and they are still asleep." he answered while laughing, remembering what happen last night. I think.

"wait they drunk alcohol?" I asked surprise and also a little jealous because I was not with them at that time.

It was fun to drink alcohol especially with them around. All the problems that we have where all gone. It was like a time for us to enjoy and live a happy life.

"nope. WE drunk alcohol." he said emphasizing the WE.

"yeah right. So what happened?" I asked again.

"they drunk 10 bottles each." he answered.

"and you?"

"3 bottles only. We need one person sane right while the party's going on." I snorted before answering him back.

"you don't drink alcohol that much mister"

"and that's also one of my reasons." I pretended to think before turning to him with an idea popped inside my head.

"hey what is this mischief that you're thinking?" he asked knowing the look of my face.

"since my headache is all gone let's go and wake them all up." I suggested making Shaun and Devin agree with me.

We laughed before went out of my room and to the game room where Shaun plugged the stereo and Devin put it on the loudest level while I switched it on.

 The look on their faces when the music blasted was unforgettable. Making me, Devin and Shaun to laugh at them. Shaun also have the decency of capturing a picture and uploading it in twitter. Making me and Devin laughed even harder.

We didn't even saw Rowan turning off the stereo, we just realized it when the music had stopped and all of them are glaring at us.

"Run Kia because I will get you for doing this to us." I heard Selene and Nathan said in unison oh-oh. I said while facing Devin.

 Since my game room, it's size is like an indoor gym. They tried to grab me but they cannot making me giggle. I'm a fast runner than they are and also it helps that Devin's protecting me. But they also made us cornered near the wIndow.
