CHAPTER 28

DEVIN'S P.O.V.

It's been a week since I last saw my mate. Since I last had a contact with her. I was restless just like my wolf.

We could feel that she's in total danger and had received a beating twice a day. Ryker felt the same thing while Nathan just vent up his anger using the training he's doing with the fighters.

We could have attacked them by now but there are still things that we needed to accomplish. Like tracking the rouge's hideout and train the warriors.

I do have a plan that only Ryker, Rowan, Nathan, Shaun and Wesley will be with me with six other pack warriors incase I had lost control over my powers. I should have known that I will be using this power of mine sooner or later.

I just hated using it. It consumes me and I had almost lost control the last time I had used this power. But I will use it again even if it makes me someone I don't really know for the sake of my pack and my mate.

I was still deep in thought when I felt Selene trying to contact me through the mind link.

"Dev!" she called urgently.

"yes!?"  I asked with the same urgency.

"you must go to the lake and wait for us in there."  she said.

"what do you mean!?"

"I was trying to contact all of you yesterday because we are planning to escape this hell."

"how could you do it!?"

"we have our ways. We met someone in here."

"who!?"

"someone special to all of you."

"who is it!?"

"you'll know soon but you needed to go to the lake now and we are going to escape." she said before blocking me.

One thing is in my mind. They are going to escape and I'll be embracing my mate sooner.

I went to the living room and called Nathan, Ryker, Shaun and Rowan.

They all got in but Ryker and Nathan are the most irritated at all.

"what do you want!?" Ryker asked irritated for the fact that Selene was nowhere to be found and his Wolf was howling for him to find his mate.

"we will be going to the lake right now." I announced making them look shocked at me but recovered quickly.

"why!?" Shaun asked confused.

"they will be at the lake." I answered.

"you..!!? You!!?" Nathan asked not getting the words out. I looked at him confused. He was the one who must have known before me that Kia and Selene are escaping right!? Why does it look like that he don't have any clue and was overthinking!?

"you traded them?" Ryker asked in disbelief.

"what do you mean traded!!? They were escaping the hellhole today. They were trying to contact us but no one had realized it. Selene just contacted me just a minute ago saying their plan. They want us to wait at the lake." I said in one breath a little irritated for the fact that they thought I had negotiate with the rouges just for my mate. I will not use my pack to save my mate.

I will do my best to plan things out and not let my pack in. I will use my power just to kill the rouges even if it cause me my own life as a normal person. It will consume me and only my mate can cure the darkness in me.

"okay! So we are saving them!?" Rowan asked full of hope. He had blamed his self for not protecting his brother's mate.

"yes!" with that said we got out of the packhouse and transformed into our wolves but in Nathan's case a tiger.

SELENE'S POV

I had contacted Devin after a million of years of contacting him. We needed to get out of here or Kia will go bersek and kill the rouges. She had a little temper. She was talking like the goddess of life. Saying that the rouges doesn't have any right to live.

I had met the goddess of LIFE and they have the same temper but the goddess was not that violent. She will always tell the god of death who to kill. She knows the judgement better than Death.

"are we going to escape or you are just going to think there!?" I heard Kia's angry question.

"we will don't be impatient." I said to her.

"I am starting to get very very impatient." she said through gritted teeth.

"Heal yourself and her." I commanded her making her groan before doing it. I know it will take more energy from her but we needed to get her in a good shape today. Suddenly Kia became the Angel of Life and heal all the bruises she have and our companion. After that she made her wings go out and be seen.

I just shook my head out of frustation. She's very impatient and had a very bad temper. She made me transform into my guardian form and used my power to place a very big hole at our cell. After placing it I transformed into my tiger and told our other companion to hop in.

 She hop in and we flew. We could see the expressions of the rouges and that made Kia laughed at them. They were just looking at us like they'd seen something unbelievable. Well they took us to be just hunters which is a lie.

It's their fault trusting our own explanation. We were still laughing when guns started to shoot at us. Making a decision we flew higher for them to not shoot us and we got to our destination in no time. But there are rouges waiting for us.
