Chapter 16

Still Kia’s POV

After bathing and waiting for the others to finish, we all went to school which we have a fifteen minutes before our third subject. We’ve used that time to go to our lockers and get our own books.

I was arranging my books when I realized that Dev’s locker was just beside mine. I didn’t even saw that coming. I was just staring at his face seeing that no one did realize that I was staring at him. He has those beautiful green eyes that anyone would like to stare. He was also tall as tall as Nathan I think and have a body of a god that all sluts would like to see. When I saw that he was about to turn his head I let my gaze avert towards my locker for him to not know that I was staring at him. I let myself be busy at arranging and getting my books when I felt his burning gaze towards my face and body. I turned and was captured on his beautiful green eyes, I was so lost when he cleared his throat making me get out of the daze I have.

“come on let’s go. We have math.” He said. I just nodded not trusting my voice.

We went to math and after a minute or so Mr. Garce came. We were in the middle of discussing when Devin started to ask.

“why are you so good to me today?” he asked curiosity clear in his voice.

“I felt like changing” I answered

“there’s a reason to that right?”

“there’s no reason behind it”

“you’re lying.”

“no I’m not”

“oh yes you are”

“if I am how’d you know?”

“instinct!?” he answered or more like asked.

“alright. The truth is someone gave me advice that if truly give you a chance then why do I need to push you away right?"  I answered him sincerity in my voice.

He just nodded his head out of understanding.

After math we went to Science with Neil and Mayra. Neil and Devin talked about sports while me and Mayra just kept our mouth shut. We were both nervous about the party tonight because neither of us use any dress or went to a party wearing it. When we were invited to some parties we always use casual clothes. Jeans and shirts thats all while Selene and Aislyn always used dresses. They don't care how others think of them and besides they are more way beautiful than us. But sometimes Selene and Aislyn would make me a living doll that I always transformed into something that I don't even know existed on me. They are my fashion designers. Lyn was more on my dresses and shoes while Selene is more on my make up and hair.

When lunch time came we all went to our favorite spot where the other football players went to because the captain ball was Nathan himself. I remembered that the football team lack some players so I think Nate will invite them for football. We were all eating our lunch when Justin came to our table and ruined my mood.

"hey Kia don't you think you're too fat to eat those sandwiches." he said with a smirk. I glared at him before starting to eat again.

"why are you here Justin?" Nathan asked not even facing him.

"oh don't be like that Nate." Justin said with a patt on the back.

"just state what you want Justin." Lyn said with venom lacing her voice.

"or else?" he asked mocking us.

"I will kill you." Devin said in a very dangerous voice. I saw how his eyes flicker from gold to green.
