CHAPTER 17

                     DEVIN'S P.O.V.

  I was in the gym waiting for the others. The first to arrived was Selene and Nathan who have a very angry expression because of this they look very identical that you would laugh because of this. Kaylee was also with them.

A few minutes later Shaun and the others arrived but Kia was not with them.

"hey where's Kia?" I asked to nobody in particular.

"ha? Kia's not here?" Shaun asked back.

"yes so where's Kia?" I asked again.

"I don't know, bro. She had threatened me that I cannot have Ash for tonight and then dashed out of the room." Shaun answered a little nervious. I was about to answer him again when I felt pain in my stomach. It's like being punched and my wolf was howling at me to go to our mate. I was running towards the door of the gym to go to my mate when Selene shouted.

"at the corridor near the lockers. You must go there fast!" she said. She knows that I was about to go to my mate and she knows something about her sudden appearance.

I was running to the exact location of what she said when I saw Kia unconcious and the scent of that bastard was lingering in here.

I carried Kia towards the infirmary and laid her there. I will kill that bastard once I saw him again. No one hurts my mate that can get out alive.

After 30 minutes..... My mate wakes up. I asked her what happen and she answered me immediately.

"I was punched by Justin." she said in a very quiet voice making me very angry but calmed down when I saw her sad face.

"I am going to kill that fucking bastard." I said in a very dangerous voice. I saw the effect of my voice to my mate. She shivered before staring at me.

"don't" she said.

"and why? That fucking bastard punched you. For goodness sake you're a girl not a punching bag. Girls must not be hurt." I answered still very angry.

"I know that but I was the one who made him angry."

"ahhhh. So you're covering for him." I said in a bitter and jealous tone. I didn't hide the fact that I was jealous to that bastard.

"no I'm not covering for him."

"then why? Just tell me the truth. You know for a reason that I am inlove with you and will kill those who hurt you. I'll do everything for you because that's how much I love you."

"because I don't want you to kill him. You'll just end up in jail. I know you're inlove with me but for me I don't know if I'm inlove with you and you told me you'll wait. I promise I'll do everything to make up my own decision."

"alright. But I want you to know one thing. Since I was a child I have killed many."

"ha?"

"Since I was a child I have killed many people."

"there's a reason behind that right?"

"yes."

"then what is it?"

"my Dad have many enemies."

"but you were just a child how could you kill those grown ups."

"I have a very very special power."

"oh? What's that?"

"I wanted so badly to tell you but I gave you my word that once you said you trust me then that's the time I would tell you this secret."
