The moonlight peaks through the flourishing leaves of the oaks in the late winter. You stare at the luminosity enveloping a beautiful reverence of Kageyama. And there it is again, the noncomplacent yearning to express a suppressed passion where neither ink nor speech could depict. Subconsciously, your cheeks flush a pink hue as you train your eyes on Kageyama's, a various spectrum of dark blue, embellished with dim highlights.
The euphoric giddiness paints a venerational vividness, a medley of bright marigolds and sakura pinks, contrasting the dark night. This is the beauty of love, and finally, you had found it. No, it was always there, incarcerated behind the depths of your mentality.
You grasp his coarse hand, placing it inside of yours, while he looks back at you curiously, tilting his head with raised eyebrows. You merely smile back at him as the colors stir the desire to love; yet somewhere, a mauve purple shadows the painting, and it is intoxicating, ominously predominating the evocative colors.
You squeeze his hand tightly, and he responds reassuringly, imitating your actions.
"We're here" Kageyama stops in front of your house.
"... yeah," the heat disperses from your palm as he lets go.
For a moment, neither of you speak, the awkward silence renders a deafened stillness.
...
Tobio.
Your eyes follow his prominent lips. A protruding urge to be with him possesses an independence, rousing the desire to touch his lips.
I want you.
The mauve cataracts cloud your perception, and you bite your lip in ambivalent anticipation, bringing your hands up to cup the sides of his face.
Wanted you for seven years.
Your heart palpitates too quickly as you dissociate intermittently, a lightheadedness overcoming your brain.
I ... I need you ...
His denim blue eyes entice your physique to pull forward as you succumb to the intoxicating, magenta opacity pervading through your limbs.
Just... this... once.
You lose control. Your lips finally brush against his, but it is a malignant mistake.
Precipitously, he staggers away your grasp, widened, blue eyes appalled. The ecstatic blue that glistened like the gradients of the summer skies when his eyes feasted on the stash of meat buns. The tenacious blue that ignited with a firey maroon when he challenged his adversaries. The present blue that is tainted with a darker mauve, a repulsion.
No, no, no, no, no, I didn't do this.
You breathe heavily, clawing your arms as if you could awake from a surreal notion, if you could erase the permanence of the violet ink.
"Why?"
A shallow, simplicity in which you the loss of words fail to return. Your eyes could never meet his. An acrid disgust falters your words, conveying a bitter ambivalence.
It's not hard.
Just. Tell. Him.
"I ASKED YOU WHY DID YOU DO IT?"
Kageyama takes you by the front of your shirt, thrashing you under his grip. His eyes pierce your limp body.
"It's... it's because, I-I..." your hoarse voice is stifled by the sudden silence.
I don't know. I don't know. I don't know.
You sprawl across the pavement, scraping unnoticed cuts and bruises across your skin.
"Fucking dumbass."
A/N:

Idk if I portrayed a rejection correctly becuz I never got "rejected" in my life ;) ... because I could never "confess" :( because I never truly "liked" any tangible person :)) lol but plz give me feedback (especially constructive criticism plzz)
