Claire:

"She's not dead." Derek immediately argues after Stiles brings up what Isaac said about Erica.

I want to say that can't alphas usually feel when there's something wrong with their betas. Then I remember that fact that she along with Boyd left his pack.

"Derek he said 'there's a dead body, it's Erica.' Doesn't exactly leave us much room for interpretation." Stiles counters in a solemn tone.

"But that doesn't make any sense." I say. "Because then who's in the vault with Boyd?"

"Someone else, obviously." Stiles responds with the only other probable answer. If Erica and Boyd had only left together then the possibilities of who it can be is almost endless.

"Maybe it was the girl on the motorcycle?" Scott suggests and looks over at Isaac. "The one who saved you."

Isaac shakes his head from his spot besides Stiles and I. "No, she wasn't like us. And whoever was in the vault with Boyd was."

Stiles nods his head, getting that look in his eyes whenever he trys to find the most possible solution. "What if that's how Erica died? They like pit them against eachother during the full moons and see which one survives. It's like a werewolf thunderdome."

And sometimes that 'solution' is a fairly extremely unsettling one that should be kept in the confines of his own mind and not be shared out loud.

"Then we get them out tonight." Derek declares. I'm starting to think that Stiles lack of bad 'solutions' filter is rubbing off on Derek too.

"Be smart about this, Derek." Deaton interjects from his spot in the room. "You can't just go storming in."

"If Isaac got in, then so can we." Derek so simply responds.

"Did you forget the fact that he could have almost died just remembering how he got there?" I storm up from my seat, causing it to scratch against the tile. The room goes quiet, and I fight the overwhelming need to throw a couple of mints that are in my bag at him.

"You need to think before you act or else one of these teenagers are going to get hurt." I direct towards Derek before leaving the room.

I grab my coat and quickly make a beeline towards my front door. My alarm clock decided to be nice enough to not ring this morning. So now if I don't basically drive over the speed limit, I'm going to be late for work.

The door bell rings just as I'm about to open the door. Since I'm not going to make the same mistake that every person does in horror movies or tv shows, I actually look through the peephole first.

I see who it is and immediately hold my breath. "Claire, open up I hear you by the door."

My head feels like it's about to pop from holding in my breath, which I guess didn't do anything for me to begin with. I suck in a breath and manage not to pass out from lack of oxygen. Remind me again why I thought holding my breath would keep a werewolf from hearing me?

Knowing that I can't waste much time just standing on the other side of the door I go out into the hallway. He takes a step back and I shut the door before fast walking down the hall. It doesn't take long for him to match my pace and place a hand on my shoulder to stop me.

"I came to see why you got so mad yesterday." Derek speaks up and steps infront of me.

"I'm not mad. Just about to be late for work that's all." I try to lie as I look through my purse. Knowing that he sees that eyebrow twitch whenever I lie even if my heartbeat is steady.
