Claire:
"No I'd say about ten minutes...if I wasn't still stuck in the accident." I lift my head up with hopes of seeing how many cars are infront of me. "Actually make that five minutes looks like the traffic is starting to move."
The hospital receptionist lets out a sigh of relief before hanging up. "You know I probably would have avoided alot of traffic if you would've let me drive myself?"
"You know you snore?" Derek keeps a serious voice despite appearing to be holding back a smile. "It actually woke me up a few times."
I feel me face go red as I narrow my eyes at him. "Liar. I have like four past roommates and my mom who can say that I don't snore that loud." Not to mention that I only snore on those nights when I haven't slept in a while. Because stress for me equals no sleep which means that I usually eat or read...or both. Yeah usually both.
Derek turns his head in my direction at a red light and is about to speak, but instead points behind me. I nearly jump out of my skin at the gross moth on the window. "That's just nasty. I mean did it really have to be a moth?"
"Just roll down the window and kill it." Derek's attention is now mainly drawn back to the road.
"And risk moth-man coming after me? No thanks." Instead I tap my finger on the window in an attempt to get it to leave. The cat-sized moth doesn't fly away and I'm forced to be as far as I possibly can be till it finally leaves when we drive up to the hospital.
"Don't drive over the speed limit, boo, bae, marshmellow...or whatever it is that teenagers say now a-days." I smile and wave at his confused stare while he drives away. Now that I think about it isn't bae the Danish word for poo?
Scott walks up to me in the waiting room as soon as I step foot inside. "Hey can you sleep over at the house today?" He immediately asks.
"Um, I guess." I answer in a puzzled tone. "But is everything alright?"
He shakes his head and then proceeds to explain the next group of people being sacrificed as I'm checking a patient. It's a good thing they're sedated or else I'm sure that would have been an odd conversation to listen in on.

"Wait didn't you say that they were all doctors?" My mom's question is what wakes me up from my spot in the room. "I mean, I haven't had an M.D. recently attached to the end of my name, so I think I'm in the clear. Don't you two think you should be keeping an eye on Claire instead?"
"Present." I wave from my spot on the ground to signal my position. "They set up a pillow bed for me last night." I explain, letting out a yawn as I sit up.
My mom gives Isaac and Scott an incredulous look at there attempt to keep 'watch' on both of us. I stayed up later then either one of them and it was only eleven when I slept.
"Plus it could just come under any kind of healer, mom. And you were definitely a healer last night. So Isaac and I think it's better if we keep an eye on both of you." Scott remarks with Isaac nodding, half-asleep, in agreement.
"Yeah, well, I'm not gonna be anyone's human sacrifice today. What about you, Claire?" She questions. I shake my head and our mom continues, "Now that that's settled both of you get your butts to school." They both leave and I get up to get ready for work.
With two of the doctors already haven been taken by the Darrach, the rest of us are being stretched thin to try and get to all the sudden on-slot of patients. Which isn't exactly helping calm down everyones fear that they might get murdered by the 'unidentified' killer.
A new patient gets rolled in on a stretch and it's not until the nurses turn the corner that I spot who it is. I fast walk after them but when I get towards the room I stop when I hear two of the nurses talking.
