Chapter 31 - you get it

Meliodas stood in front of Helbram, Lostvayne in hand and a furious glare set onto his target.

Helbram stood in front of Meliodas also. Except he was not prepared for the battle that was soon to come and had no idea what was about to transpire.

"Where is she!?" Meliodas demanded clenching Lostvayne harder and glaring daggers at Helbram. Dozens of malicious thoughts running through his one track mind.

"Just leave her out of this! Your fight is with me...isn't it?" His eyes narrowed in irritation. The last thing he'll do is let him touch his woman.

"I said...where is my DAUGHTER!?"
Meliodas screamed while running at Helbram. His sacred treasure glinted in the afternoon sunlight.

'Melody...I'm sorry for what I might have to do...' He thought sorrowfully as he quickly took to the sky in an attempt to dodge Meliodas's attack. The young fairy boy then immediately summoned his sacred treasure Atherion to his side. "Why are you here!? What did I do that would make you want to kill me!?" Surely he wasn't angry about them running away...no. It couldn't be that.

"How about let's start with the the fact that you got my daughter pregnant!" shit.

Helbram visibly sweat dropped and on instinct looked over at the cave. Meliodas noticed and gave Helbram the kind of look a serial killer would give to their victim before they tortured them.

"Hmmmm, so that's where she is, eh?" He growled in a dangerously low tone, his demon mark moving to his forehead. "I'll deal with you late-"

"GET AWAY FROM MY BOYFRIEND YOU PIECE OF SHIT!" Cried a disembodied voice.

"MELODY! GET AWAY! YOU MIGHT GET HURT!" The now pale fairy ordered his 5 month pregnant girlfriend.

"No! I refuse!" Melody jumped down from a nearby tree that she had been sitting in. Her demon mark was also in the middle of her forehead and she looked rather angry.
She looked at her father, onyx hitting onyx like a midnight sky without any stars and she scowled.

"Don't kill him." She looked at her dad only for him to look away from her. Her eyes faded back to their original shade of emerald green and she began walking towards him. "Look...we- no I made a mistake, but I'm happy, so Please don't kill him... Because I love him...I love him with my entire being and for you to just take that away-" The pregnant demons voice cracked as she wiped her eyes, holding back her tears.

"Do you really think I'll let him live after what he's done to you?!" Meliodas said with a sadistic and hurt smile. Gripping onto Lostvayne so hard that his hands started to bleed. "I don't care if you love him! He's gonna die today and it's going to be by MY HANDS!"

It happened in only a matter of seconds. Meliodas Lunged at Helbram, but he didn't have time to dodge.

"HELBRAM! RUN! Melody's screams became a distant sound as he watched the tears fall down his lovers cheeks.

He saw his very existence flash before his eyes; his mother and father, his sister and friends, but most of all...Melody and his kid. He closed his eyes and prepared himself for the impact...

But it never came.

Helbram slowly reopened his eyes. 'Maybe Meliodas decided not to kill me for Melody's sake.' He relaxed for a second before he decided to look down, but what he saw made his blood run cold and he found himself unable to breath...There was this strong feeling of anxiety that began to overwhelm him as he gaped in shock; Melody had jumped in front of him, effectively taking the brunt of the attack, and was now sitting on the ground with her right hand tightly clutching her left arm.

There was a loud clunk as Meliodas dropped his weapon and fell to his knees.

The wound on her arm was bleeding profusely and was sure to leave a decent scar. He acted quickly despite his sudden inability to think straight and rushed to take off his top and hold against her gushing arm.

"Melody...please...please be okay." He whispered as she passed out in his arms from pain and blood lose.
Helbram gently rested her on the ground and got up, slowly walking over to a pained Meliodas. "Why?" He muttered. "Why did you hurt her!?" He hissed as he pointed his floating spear at Meliodas' head.

"I'm sorry, Melody, please forgive me..." Meliodas whispered to his unconscious daughter.

"She can't hear you! She's unconscious!" He yelled, his eyes burning with anger. "I'LL KILL YO-"

"N-no...H-H-Helbram...ple-please s-stop."

Pretty crappy, but at leave I've decided the gender for the baby so that's exciting.

I found a name that I really like and yes...it is from another anime.
