We moved Melody's body to the spare room. Helbram needed to sleep in there bedroom, which meant sleeping in the bed she died in. Every time someone would go in there they would see him sitting on the floor staring at the white linen sheets. Which had been changed after she was moved, but I can just imagine how much pain he's in. I should know, because I experienced it first hand. Even though Melody would come back, he was scared that she would have no recollection of him and the saviours.
I'm not doing too great either. I know I'll see her again, I just can't get the image of the blood stained sheets from my head. It won't go away.
Even now as I'm sitting here drinking my ale at 3:05 in the morning, I'm reminded of Elizabeth and how she died the exact same way. Eliza was murdered by my brother Estarossa. I hate him for taking my daughter away! Melody died from internal Hemorrhage just like her mother and I can't fucking take it! I want to scream at the ass hole in the sky who stole my family, some fucking god he is!
I put my mug down, having finished all of my ale and ready to go up to bed. My boots clacked as I walked up each step, brushing my hand against the wall for support.
I got to the top and continued down the dark hallway.
I noticed that Helbram's door was open, so I took a quick peek as I walked past.
He was sitting on the window seel, wide awake with Micah in his arms; rocking him gently in the moonlight.
I smiled softly as I noticed him smiling at the small boy, the sight gave me a ray of joy.
I stuffed my hands in my large pockets and continued walking back to my room, sighing and shaking my head.
"I though I told you not to drink too much..."
I quickly turned around - getting into an attack stance and scanning the area for any living being. None.
"That was weird." I whispered as I calmed down my heart beat.
The voice never came back, so I quickly rushed to my room and locked the door.

Sorry for the short chapter, it's getting late and I really need to sleep. I just wanted to publish a chapter because I recently drew out Helbram and Melody and wanted to show them off in this book. Hope u liked this chapter ❤❤❤❤❤
