Leo and Piper's relationship is like no other on the Argo II. They are both introverts, both only children, therefore content with just touching shoulders, heads, anything to know the other is there. They are, simply put, soulmates. Not romantic; they are much too sibling-like for that. Platonic. They can both read body language well, seeing as Leo grew up getting bullied and running from foster home to foster home, and Piper grew up in the Hollywood scene. Therefore, they can tell when the other is getting uncomfortable, happy, scared, sad, etc. They know each other so well that they created a specific sign language so that only they could understand what the other was saying. They share similar interests like the Hunger Games, Julie and the Phantoms, She-Ra, and therefore they always have something to talk about, or not if not wanted. Leo and Piper hang out so much that Mr McLean basically adopted Leo.
