The match

Today was finally the day we've all been waiting for. The Quidditch match between Gryffindor and Slytherin. We had a pretty good chance with Harry as the new Seeker, but when I saw him at breakfast he didn't look his best and wasn't eating.

"Harry, you need to eat something." I told him

"I don't want anything."

"Just a bit of toast." Wheedled Hermione.

"I'm not hungry."

"Harry I understand that you're nervous, but you really need to eat." I grabbed a treacle tart and put it on his plate. "Your favorite."

Seamus turned to Harry and said: "Harry, you need your strength. Seekers are always the ones who get nobbled by the other team."

"Thanks Seamus." Answered Harry sarcastically, but after 2 minutes or so he took some bites of the treacle tart.

We walked up to the stands and put up our banner saying 'Potter for President'. Then the teams flew into the quidditch pitch. Madame Hooch had a little talk with them and then they were off.

It was a good match, Gryffindor scored the first time. I took my eyes off when I heard a familiar voice.

"Budge up there, move along," Hagrid sat down next to us. "Bin watchin' from me hut, but it isn't the same as bein' in the crowd. No sign of the Snitch yet, eh?"

"Nope."

Way up above, Harry was circling around, looking for the snitch. Lee Jordan was informing us of everything happening.

"-and Chaser Bell and speeds towards the - wait a minute - is that the Snitch?"

At that moment Harry dived and went after the Snitch. Terence Higgs, Slytherins Seeker, had seen it too and Harry and him both were trying to catch it.

"Harry is closer!" I screamed, but then Marcus Flint blocked him. "He's gonna fall off!" I yelled at the others as we sat on the edge of our seats.

"Foul!" Gryffindor got a free shot, but the Snitch was gone.

Then suddenly Harry went up and down, up and down like crazy.

"Dunno what Harry thinks he's doing." Mumbled Hagrid. "If I didn' know better, I'd say he'd lost control over his broom ... but he can't have."

Harry's broom had started to spin around and after a little it swept Harry off. He was now dangling from it, holding the broom with one hand.

"Did something happen to his broom when Flint blocked him?" Whispered Seamus.

"Can't have," Hagrid said "Can't nothing interfere with a broomstick except Dark Magic, no kid could do that to a Nimbus Two Thousand."

Hermione seized Hagrid's binoculars and started looking at the crowd. "I knew it! Snape, look." And she handed them to me.

I saw Snape whispering while looking at Harry.

"He's doing something, jinxing the broom!" Hermione said.

"What could we do?" Ron asked as he grabbed the binoculars.

"Leave it to me." Answered Hermione and she disappeared before anyone could say something.

In the meantime the Weasley twins were trying to pull Harry safely on one of their brooms, but the broom was vibrating too much.

When Hermione had reached the row where Snape was, she didn't even wait to say sorry when she knocked Quirrell over. That stupid Quirrell.
She reached Snape and after some seconds we realized she'd put him on fire.

I looked at Harry and was happy to see that his broom had stopped. He flew down and when he landed he looked as if he was about to throw up.
He put his hand over his mouth and then he pulled out something gold.

"I got the Snitch!" He yelled and put his hand up to show everyone.

"He's got it!" I screamed in excitement and all Gryffifors stood up and cheered.

After the match Harry, Hermione, Ron and I went to Hagrid's hut and were made a strong cup of tea while we talked about the match and Snape.

Hagrid leaked something about his dog Fluffy that Hermione, Ron and Harry had met. He also said something about Nicolas Flamel. Who's that? So now I need to figure out who that is and what he has to do with the stone, and I can't forget about the mirror. I laid my thoughts aside and enjoyed the rest of the day, talking about the match, playing games and doing fun stuff.
