Voldemort had let me kill one person each week and today was the day he would let me kill another, if my theory was correct. I'd already given up. I couldn't stop him and no one else could, they didn't even know. He'd gotten me.

I walked to the library with Hermione. She had talked about a certain book for 3 hours already, and she finally decided to check if the library had it. For some reason there were no people in the hallways. Something didn't feel right.

Then out of nowhere I grabbed my wand and pointed it to Hermione. You gotta be kidding.

"Jade, what are you doing?"

I looked into her eyes. I could kill Voldemort at this point. I had to kill my best friend, my first friend.

"You're a filthy mudblood and therefore deserve to die!" I shouted at her.

"Jade, what's wrong? This isn't you!"

I could see the fear in her eyes. I watched the tears roll down her face as she was looking around for help. She held her hand towards me, but nothing. She said nothing.

Why did you have to make this harder!

"So tell me, any last words?" She looked me into my eyes and stuttered a little when she said: "I know you're in there. You're strong, you can come back."

Hermione did it! She somehow figured out. Maybe studying things isn't a waste of time. I couldn't believe it. I had to find a way out. Don't give up.

"Alright those were the weirdest last words I've ever heard."

I saw myself lift my wand. There wasn't a lot of time left. Let me out!

Hermione looked at me hopefully.

Aaahhhhh! Let me outttt! I heard the first word.

"Avada-"

I had to do it now. Aaaaaaahh! I felt a taer rolling down my eye. What, how? Maybe I can-

"AAAAH!" I was shocked when I heard myself scream. I didn't have much time.

"Hermione, run."

She just stood there, frozen. I threw my wand on the ground and screamed.

"RUN!!!"

She ran away and didn't look back. I did it. I broke the Imperius Curse. How?
