After three normal days I kinda forgot about everything what happened on the first and second one. As I walked through the hallways I bumped into professor Quirrell.
"Ah, J- j- j- ade Wendell right? I n- n- eed to talk with you ab- b- b- out the lessons."
Really concerned I walked with him outside.
"You've b- b- een doing really well in your d- d- d- d- efence against the dark arts clas- s- ses."
When we were at the gate I finally spoke up. "Professor, where are we going? I think it's against the rules to just leave the school territories without permission."
"Dumbledore g- g- gave me permission. Now come with m- me. I need t- t- to show you this place just behind H- h- hogsmeade. To ehhh, l- learn some extra defence against the dark a- a- arts. You're ready to learn t- t- this spell."
When we reached the place far from Hogwarts and Hogsmeade he sat down on a rock.
"T- t- t- ake a seat."
I sat down on the cold rock while it stayed quiet. After some time he continued.
"Right" And he stood up. Then for no reason he took off his turban. He turned around and then I saw him. Attached to the back of Quirrell's head. The Dark Lord. I looked into his eyes, ready to do something. I didn't really know what, since I didn't learn much yet. Then I heard the scariest voice I'd ever heard.
"Ah, so you're that dangerous girl huh? The girl that couldn't be sorted... You know, I don't want you to just destroy the world, I want you to do it for me. Then us and the Death Eaters can rule. What do you say?"
For a bit I couldn't manage to talk. He wanted me, an eleven year old, to work for him and help him destroy the world?
"N- no"
"I ask you one more time. Join me."
I looked at him while trying not to cry or scream. It started to get dark outside. Then he spoke up again.
"Then you leave me with no choice. Quirrell!" He turned around and Quirrell pointed his wand at me.
"Crucio!"
I fell on the hard, cold ground and started shaking. The pain was unbearable.
"Crucio!"
I started to lose control. I felt everything being ripped away from me while I tried to do what my father always told me. Don't let them see you're scared, do not cry, then they'll stop. I couldn't do it. I just,
"Aaaahhh!" A tear rolled down my face. Then, just when I thought it would never stop, the pain went away. I looked into Voldemort's eyes.
"You're stronger than I thought. You know, I wasn't going to kill you. This was just a little punishment. Now the bigger one comes... Since you're not joining me in free will. I have to do it this way."
He turned around so I could see Quirrell again. I saw him lifting his wand as I tried to prepare for what was coming.
"Imperio!"
