"Nicolas Flamel... Ever heard of him?" Hermione asked.

She, Harry, Ron and I were all sitting in the common room trying to find out who he was.

"Nope," I responded and Harry and Ron shook their heads.

"Come on, at least one of us should know," she said with disappointment on her face.

Never had I ever heard that name. Nicolas Flamel, never.

"Okay, well I'm going to the library, we should be able to find out who he is there. You coming?" She asked.

We all walked to the library and searched a lot of books, but we couldn't find anything. Hermione constantly told Harry and Ron to be quiet, since they were complaining the whole time how it was impossible to find him in one of all those books.
At some point she gave in and we decided to return to the common rooms when something popped up in my mind.

"Ehm, I still have something to do. I'll see you guys in the common room."

They all nodded and we went our separate ways. I climbed all the stairs on my way to the seventh floor and waited till the door showed up. At this point I was quite good at it. I made sure nobody saw me and went in. When I walked in I was surprised by an empty room. The mirror was gone. It was the exact same room, I couldn't have done it wrong. I walked to the place where it used to be, still in shock. It was not there. I walked out, not realising that it was nighttime already and I should've been in my common room. I was almost there when I walked into Professor Mcgonnagal.

"Miss Wendall, may I ask you what you're doing here at this time?"

I looked out of the window and saw how dark it was.

"Ehm, I had to return a book to the library and got a bit lost on the way back."

"Well, could be but it's still against the rules. Sadly I'm already stuck with the Weasleys, so you'll have detention tomorrow with Professor Quirrell. I'll inform him that you will be at his office at 7 P.M. strict. Do you need any help finding your way?" She looked down at me.

"Okay Professor, and no, I think I know the way, thank you," I said and I walked away to the common room.

I could scream, detention with Professor Quirell. The guy who cursed me. Speaking of which, why isn't Professor Dumbledore doing anything?

Once I was finally there and walked in, my thoughts were interrupted by Hermione.

"Jade! Where have you been!? Students are not allowed to be out this late."

"I know Hermione, I got detention... With Professor Quirrell."

"Oh, I'm sorry. But at least Professor Quirrell isn't that bad right? Way better than Professor Snape."

"Hermione, do you remember what he did?"

"I mean, he's not the most professional but he's fine," she answered.

Did she forget?

"Come on Jade, it's only for one hour, it's not that bad. Anyway, I've been waiting for you to come back forever, so I'm going to bed and I suggest you do too, we have class tomorrow."
