041: 17 candles part 1

Ana's pov.

"Happy birthday babe" Shawn said with a huge smile.

Today is June 3rd, my birthday. I'm officially 17!!

Shawn has had this day planned since I got out of the hospital after the earthquake. According to him, its a miracle I'm still alive. So he wants to celebrate the fact that I lived to see another birthday.

"Today is gonna be awesome" he chuckles.

I have no idea what he has planned but it's Shawn so I know it'll be great.

"Cory and Topanga are on their way, Angela is coming later" he rambled. "and Carmen.."

"Is right here" Carmen said pointing to herself. "I just went pee Shawn, chill".

"I am perfectly chill!!" Shawn shouted.

Carmen and I both gave him wide eyes to signal he calm down.

"Shawn" I whisper, "shhh, take a deep breath in"

"But.."

"Shh, do the breathing exercises you had me practice"

Shawn took a deep breath in and starting doing the breathing exercises. Which happened to be what I need to do when I happen to go into labor. Weird, I know but it actually calms him down.

"Are you good?" I ask.

He nods and gives me a peck ob the lips.

I turn to face Carmen who looks weirded out.

"My boyfriend's not weird Carmen"

"Stop lying to yourself" she jokes.

"Maybe you should take a minute and sit down" Shawn tells me.

"Why?"

3rd person pov.

"Maybe because you're 6 months pregnant" Cory said from the door.

"Broccoli you're here" Ana smiled. "And Topi?"

"Topi's here" Topanga smile, shoving Cory out of the way a little.

"Topanga?!" Cory shouted after hurting his elbow.

"Get over it Cory, I'm here for Ana and Flynn"

"Topi!!" Ana screeched, hugging her friend very tightly.

The girls were happy to see each other after not doing so since the end of their junior year.

"I haven't seen you in.. How long?" Topi asked.

"Too long" Ana pouted.

"Like 2 weeks" Cory said. "Stop being such cry babies"

"Cory, I wouldn't" Shawn warned.

"No, they need to stop being such girls about things".

"Cory she will hurt you, I accidentally ate her lucky charms the other day and she about drowned me"

"She would never hurt you" Carmen said.

"But she would hurt my feelings. She can be cold sometimes"

"Shut the fuck up ugly!" Ana yelled at Shawn. "I'm trying to listen to Topi complain about Cory".

"See" Shawn whispered.

"Are you ready to be 17?" Cory asked Ana.

"Well I don't really have a choice do I?" Ana retorted. "Plus, It's the 3rd so I'm already 17. Unless you can time travel. Stupid"

"That's my sweet girl" Shawn chuckled nervously. "Help" he whispered to Carmen.

"I heard that!" Ana yelled. "You wanna get rid of me?" She cried.

"No, I-" Shawn stuttered. "I couldn't live without you".

"Really?" Ana asked while still crying.

"Really" Shawn nodded.

They kissed and went on with their plans.

"Angela's here" Topanga smiled.

"Yay!" Ana shouted, rushing to the door.

She swung the door open, Angela already on the other side.

"Angie!!" Ana shouted again.

"Is!!" Angela shouted back.

The hugged each other as if they haven't seen each other in a year and then went into the kitchen with Topanga and Cory.

"Where's Carmen?" Angela asked.

"Helping Shawn with decorations, why?" Topanga asked.

"No reason" Angela sighed.

Right at that moment, Carmen came in carrying bags of balloons.

"Anaisa, Topanga" she said.

"Are you just going to ignore me?" Angela asked.

"Hi Angela" Carmen fake smiled. "When did you get here?".

"Just a moment ago" Angela said. "Can we talk?"

"We have nothing to talk about" Carmen sighed, shaking her head.

"Carmen please don't be like this" Angie sighed, tears in her eyes. "What was I supposed to do, lie to you?"

"You could have just said nothing at all" Carmen huffed. "Cory, we need some extra hands, can you be of assistance?"

"Sure" Cory shrugged, then left with Carmen.

"What was that?" Topanga asked.

"Who's picking up the cake?" Angela asked, avoiding the question.
