It's been almost a week of restless nights. Ana has gotton little to no sleep for the past 6 nights.
She has tried everything there is try.
Tea being the first. It helped but it only brought her about 2 and 1/2 hours of sleep nefore she woke up and couldn't fall asleep again.
She was tired and was tardy to almost every class every day this past week.
She had 3 absences from falling asleep in the bathroom and not going to her class.
She pleaded for the rest she needed desperately.
She was running on caffeine every day now.
And when it wore off she had a blinding migraine.
And her significant other was in no better shape.
He was only getting a small amount more rest than her.
He had missed more classed than usual because she was not fighting him to go.
She was too busy trying to rest when she could.
Which was only in her 3rd, 5th, and 8th period classes.
This morning she had to add a second cup of coffee to her new morning routine along with splashing very cold water on her face before anything else.
She got dressed in:

And lazily pulled her hair up like:

And threw on the first pair of shoes she saw:

She looked in the mirror. Satisfied enough with her look she grabbed her bookbag and left out the door.

It wasn't until half way through Feeny's class that she realized Shawn was MIA.
She left as soon as that class was over, worried that he was sick.
She knocked on the door only to have Jack answer.
"Ana?" He asked. "Shouldn't you be at school?".
"Shouldn't Shawn?".
"What do you mean?".
"Shawn isn't at school. Which means he's here".
Jack let her in and followed her to Shawns room.
She slowly opened the door and creeped in.
"Shawn?".
The boy was on his bed, still asleep. Completely oblivious to what time it was.
He looked at her with tired eyes and yawned. Then smiled at the near sight of her.
She sat on an empty space of his bed.
"Hey there cutie. You feeling okay?".
"What time is it?" Shawn asked.
"Nearly 1" Jack said.
"I'm late for school" he groaned.
He coughed and Ana checked his temperature using the back of her hand against his forehead.
"No need for school your burning up" Ana frowned.
"I'll cancel my plans and stay home with him" Jack said.
"No go. He'll be fine in my care" Ana smiled. "Enjoy your time".
"Are you sure?" Jack asked.
"Go or I'll tie you up and drive ypu there myself" she joked.
Jack nodded. "Thank you. Let me know if it gets worse".
"Of course".
Jack brought him a warm cup of tea and left.
"Drink up butter cup".
"You shouldn't miss school for me. I'll be fine" Shawn sighed.
"No. I wanna stay. You are way more important than Spanish class".
"Thanks baby".
She made sure he was as warm as possible and brought a chair to his room to llwatch over him.

"He could have gotten sleep from the lack of sleep" Topanga said. "How do you feel?".
"A little better now that I got some rest" Shawn said.
"I thought you couldn't sleep?" Cory asked.
"I couldn't at first but then Ana came over and started taking care of me and suddenly it wasn't a problem".
"I also got some sleep, finally" Ana sighed.
"How could you sleep on that chair, wasn't it uncomfortable?" Topi asked.
"I didn't sleep in the chair".
"Where did you sleep?".
"Next to Shawn".
"And only then the two of you could sleep?" Topi asked.
"I guess" Shawn shrugged.
Topi grinned. "Then thats what you'll do tonight".
"I told you I can't sleep" Ana huffed.
"I know. But I'm doing an experiment. You two will try to fall asleep while in the same bed. If you succeed then I'm right".
"Right about what?" Cory asked.
"Right that they can't sleep without eachother".
"Shore" Ana sighed.

That night they did exactly what told.
"I doubt this will work I mean I slept all thise other night of my life without you" Ana huffed.
"Yeah but Topanga said so so we have no choice" Shawn joked.
Ana laughed lightly at his joke.
They laid there for a while just sharing inside jokes and admiring one another.
They cuddled into eachother and drifted to sleep.
The best sleep they've gotten in days.
They barely even woke up on time the bext mourning.
They were late for school and showed up together hand in hand.
"Did it work?" Topi asked.
"I think it did" Cory said.
"It did" Ana smiled. _______________________________
