They woke up that next morning still in that same position as I which they fell asleep.
"Um, Annie" Shawn whispered. She didn't respond. "Annie!" He said only a little bit louder.
"Hmm?" She mumbled. "Don't move" she smiled.
"I wish we could stay like this but, I have to use the bathroom" Shawn snickered.
"Fine" Anais sighed.
Shawn left to the bathroom as Anais began to change in her closet. She was thinking about random things, then realized what day it was. Tears began to pour out of her eyes. Once she was dressed, she sat down on her bed and continued to cry.
"Annie, what's wrong?" Shawn shout, worried.
"It's moving day" She cried out.
"Oh" Shawn frowned. "Um.. well.. I-" tears filled his eyes.
"Shawn?" Anais's mother yelled.
"Hi, um.. " he stared, but failed to finish as he cried.
"Oh, I'll leave you guys alone, but Anais we leave in 2 hours". Her mom said, then walked away.
"That's not enough time" Anais cried.
"there will never be enough time" Shawn sighed.
He walked over to her and grabbed her hands, lifting her off the bed.
"Do you wanna see Cory?" He asked.
"I already said goodbye to him" Anais half-smiled "I need the rest of this time to say goodbye to you, unless.. you have to go with your girlfriend or something" she shrugged.
"What?" He asked, confused, "oh, no we weren't dating I just kinda thought she was pretty, but I realized I like someone else".
"Who?" Anais asked.
"Well... you" he smiled.
Ana froze for a second. She looked to the ground to avoid eye contact.
"Seriously?!" She shouted, finally smiling.
"Totally" He snickered.
"Me too" she said in a shy stutter, looking back at him. "I mean.. I- I like you too".
They stood there smiling at each other until Shawn made the first move by softly touching his lips to her cheek.
He then planted a quick and innocent kiss on her lips.
He went to kiss her one more time, but then froze at the sound of her mom's voice calling for her.
She let out a loud sigh then began to tear up again.
"I'll miss you most" she smiled, touching her forehead to his. She could stare into his eyes forever, she wish she could. "Goodbye Shawnie. Don't forget about me, and don't let Cory turn you into a complete dork" she tried to smile.
As she turned away from him the tears began to fill her eyes more and the farther away she got from both him and her beloved bedroom, the faster the tears ran down her face.
She reached the car where she was alone, while her parents were getting the last of what they needed. She only cried harder.
"Why?!" She shouting while crying.
She watched Shawn walk away as her parents came to the car.
Her dad started driving. As he did, she sobbed uncontrollably until she couldn't anymore.
