Zane sat on the steps of a building. The steps he sat on being in an ally way. He sat there with a cigarette in hand when a man came limping up. He was clearly part of the criminal circuit and was holding a bullet wound. "Dr. Julian? My buddies told me about yous. You give help for shit like this at a low price, right?" Asked the man and Zane nodded. "That's me, now come on in and we'll get that taken care of." Said the medicaly trained blond.

Zane fished the bullet out and stitched the wound. He then gave the man some pain meds, got his payment through a wire transfer, and sent the man on his way. Not caring that he just put a robber back on the streats. Easy money was easy money. "I keep getting such good word of mouth like this and I'll have to hire a receptionist. Damn." Muttuted the blond to himself.

Jay grinned as he stared out the window of his plain. He was on his way to the capital of one of the best countries on the map. Ninjago City. He couldn't wait to start studying abroad for his college years. It was an amazing opportunity to not only study at the best university, but to also dip his toes in an entirely new culture. He was so excited in anticipation that he bounced in his seat, annoying the person next to him.

"This is going to quite possibly be the biggest and best adventure of my life." He whispered to himself.

A groan sounded from the throat of one 17 year old Lloyd Garmadon. He couldn't believe his dad thought going to the zoo for his 17th birthday was a good idea. The zoo... At SEVENTEEN!

The blond teenager glared out his window as the family limbo drove through the street. Ah, yeas. Nothing like your dad being the leader of your countries capital provence. The perks of being filthy rich with old money and being a part of the most recognizable name in all of Ninjago's history. The Garmadon's were descended from the countries now depowered royalty, but they still held sway in the government and populace. They may not have kings and queens anymore, but the royal family was still held in high regard and owned most of the land throughout the country.

Lloyd then looked to his mom. Misako Garmadon was on her phone with a client. She was a high class prosecution lawyer after all, and crime doesn't rest.

Lloyd then looked to where his dad, Garmadon Garmadon, was on his tablet having a video call with someone Lloyd could only guess was important.

"Worst birthday yet." Lloyd muttered under his breath. Wishing his parents had the time in their day to remember how old he actually was at least.

"I'm leaving." Lloyd said as he got on his skateboard outside the zoo. He'd gone in with them, taken one look at the employee that sung him a Happy Birthday song, calling him seven instead of seventeen in the song, and walked right back out. He'd had enough and took off before his parents could protest.

The blond skated through the city, his hood up to hide himself from the populas as he made his way through allies and eventually stopped in front of his private high school. He got a wicked grin and took off for a convenience store.

Lloyd soon came back to the private school and proceeded to egg and teepee the building while skating around it, getting awesome angles and not stopping until he almost got caught by security and bolted, but soon heard a cop behind him.

"What makes you think you can get away with such vandalism?" Came the officer's voice and Lloyd turned to see the man. He looked to be in his late 40's and was going bald. "Sorry?" Lloyd tried in a small voice, knowing he was busted.

Lloyd sat in the office of one Detective Kai Smith. The brunette officer seemed to be the only one the blond teen would cooperate with. Lloyd looked around Kai's office while he waited. The brunette had to be called in to deal with him since this supposed to be Kai's day off.

On the man's desk was a childhood picture of him and his sister Nya. Along the walls were random pictures of Kai's days in his hometown. One with him and his first truck, one were he was covered in mud from mud wrestling, another where it was Kai fishing on a boat and another with him fishing from a dock. Even one of Kai and Nya posing with a horse and another with them sitting on the fence to a pig pin. There were also a few Kai and his highschool buddies and some of him in college. Attending NU no less. Lloyd smiled when he saw Kai's police graduation photo sitting right behind his desk.

"Alright, what did you do this time?" Kai said in an angry and disapproving tone as he stormed into the office, causing Lloyd's smile to melt into a frown as he looked at the brunette man.

Kai stalked over to the desk and sat in his chair with a disapproving gaze on his face, a cup of sweet tea in one hand, and a plastic bag in the other. He set the bag on the desk as Lloyd sat in front of him, sinking into the sink. "I... Teepeed and egged my school." Admitted the blond and Kai heaved a sigh. "Lloyd... Why?" He said as he sat back in his chair and Lloyd shrugged. "It seemed like fun... And it was." He replied and Kai rolled his eyes. "What? It was totally worth it." Lloyd added and Kai just gave him a look.

"Lloyd, could you please think about how your actions affect other people? Your lucky it was Vern that caught you or this'd be all over the news already. Your actions directly affect your parents." Kai explained and Lloyd rolled his eyes as he scoffed. "Why the hell should I care? I didn't ask them to make me ya know." Replied the blond. "Yes, but they're still your family. Now, I'm guessing they still think your ten?" Kai said as he opened the bag to reveal a small birthday cake. It was just the right size for two people and was Lloyd's favorite flavor.

The teen boy grinned as he looked at the celebratory confectionary. It had green icing with gold icing spelling out a hapy birthday, his name, and the number seventeen in candle numbers that waited to be blown out.

"Thanks Kai!" Lloyd said before blowing out the candles. "Yeah, yeah. Just stop getting into trouble will ya? I won't always be here to bail you out." Kai said in warning and Lloyd nodded. "I know." He said with a small smile and Kai ruffled his hair. "Now, how's about you hang at my place for a bit before curfew? We can play some video games and junk. Heck, I can even take you out to proper birthday dinner." Suggested Kai and Lloyd nodded. "Hell yeah! You know what my dad's idea of a seventeenth birthday was? THE FUCKING ZOO!"

The two males talked and laughed on their way out and to a restaurant for Lloyd's birthday.
