Lloyd sat across from Wu as they sat cross legged at a coffee table with some tea between them. "So, what are you doing here? Last time I checked Garmadon doesn't want me anywhere near you." Wu said as he lifted his tea cup to his lips.

"What dad doesn't know won't hurt him." Lloyd said with a smile. "Besides, so you got arrested a few times and may or may not be a fugitive, but you're still a good man." He added and Wu let out a small chuckle. "Either way, what is it that brought you here... Actually... How did you find me?" Wu asked and Lloyd grinned.

"Remember Kai? That college student that dad let stay with us back before you went into hiding?" Lloyd asked and Wu seemed to think before nodding. "Yes, I do. I seem to remember catching you spying on him all the time as well." Wu said and Lloyd blushed. "I wasn't quite sure how to feel. I believe he was seventeen at the time and you were about twelve years old." Wu continued and Lloyd smiled a bit. "What can I say? Kai's really hot." Said the blond, making Wu roll his eyes with a grin. "I also remember that on his eighteenth birthday you confessed to me that you were in love with him, but scared because all country people are religious and their religion praises homophobia." Wu said while giving him a look that made him start tapping his tea cup nervously with his index finger.

"A-anyways... Kai is a detective these days and dad asked him to search for you and I was in his apartment last night and-" Lloyd was cut off by his uncle. "His apartment?" Wu asked and Lloyd rolled his eyes. "Uncle, I'm seventeen and dad gave his blessings for us to be together, alright? Besides, we're only five years apart." Lloyd said with a huff and Wu chuckled. "So, he accepted you?" He asked and Lloyd nodded. "Yeah, we had a lot of fun last night... Oh! And I found out that he's bisexual!" Lloyd confirmed then shook his head. "Either way, after he fell asleep, he'd been working earlier in the day and was already tired from that, I may or may not have snuck into his office and looked through his files on you and made an educated guess on where to find you. He's really close to finding you by the way."  He said and Wu chuckled.

"Why are you chuckling?" Lloyd asked and Wu looked him in the eye. "You don't know, do you?" Wu asked and Lloyd gave a confused look. "What do you mean?" He asked and Wu sighed. "Lloyd, Kai is a dirty cop. He already found me. He's the reason I'm still here. He keeps giving the other detectives false information to keep me safe. All I had to do was offer him money and information whenever he needs it." Wu explained and Lloyd stood up, shaking his head. "No... No way Kai's a dirty cop." Lloyd said and Wu watched. "Think about it, Lloyd. How do you think he affords his nice and expensive apartment?" Wu asked and Lloyd looked to him. "Easy, my dad must be paying for it. He adores Kai!" Lloyd replied.

"Lloyd, you and I both know your father wouldn't do that unless it was absolutely needed, and even then he'd just have Kai move back in the mansion. Kai is paying for that apartment with dirty money Lloyd." Wu stressed as Lloyd started pacing. "No, no way! Kai is a good man." Lloyd said and Wu rolled his eyes. "Lloyd, if you don't believe me, just ask him. He won't lie to you, so phrase it in a way where he word play his way out of the truth." Wu challenged him.

"Fine... I will, but... For now... What I'm here for... My mom and Kai's little sister, Nya, were abducted by an unknown person and even Kai can't find anything on who it could be. It's driving him and dad crazy." Lloyd said and Wu thought. "You think I know something?" He asked and Lloyd shook his head. "No, but you were a detective back in the day. You're the one who taught Kai everything he knows about detective work. You were his master and you went on the run before you could finish teaching him, so I thought you could help." Lloyd explained.

"I see.... Alright, I know what to do, but Lloyd. I did not teach Kai everything I know. He already had a natural talent for this line of work. He taught me more then I taught him." Wu said and Lloyd tilted his head in confusion. "Kai... He has this ingrained instinct and most amazing intuition I've ever seen Lloyd. He's got natural. It's as if he was born for detective work. Like fate or destiny." Wu explained. "Either way, I have eyes and ears all over this city and the country. I have the perfect team in my mind and you're a part of it." He added and Lloyd nodded. "Alright, but what team?"
