[Country- Serpenhime]
[City- The Capital of Borealis]A man walked down the street. He had red violet eyes that scanned the area around him and white hair that was buzzed down, save for a section in the middle if his head where he'd died it purple and slicked it back. He stopped outside a shop and looked inside to see a large sign saying that some seasonal drink was back, causing him to grow an open mouthed and toothy grin, showing of his elongated upper canine teeth, giving him fangs that were on everyone native to Serpenhime. Even the lovable Jay had fangs that he didn't show much.
The man then looked when someone called his name. "Pythor! Nice to see you out and about." Came the voice of a woman. "I missed you while you when quiet." She said in a flirtatious tone. "Leave me alone Vina." Pythor said in annoyance. Wanting to get as far away from his ex as possible.
"But baby..." She whined and Pythor glared at her. "We. Broke. Up." He hissed. "Now go fuck a pole or some shit." He growled out. Not having the patience to deal with her anymore. She simply baked away and walked off while he rolled his eyes and pulled out his phone, checking the time. "The time is about right." He muttered.
Pythor then called someone. "Hey lil'bro! Really? Right between classes you say? Then I guess I have perfect timing!" He said in delight. "Well, I just wanted to check on you. Make sure things are going smoothly since we can't visit each other currently."
Pythor spoke to his little brother while going into the small cafe to order a drink. "Oh? You met someone? A player? You realize your asking for a broken heart, correct?"
He then sat at a table with his drink and started sipping on it. "Oh, I bet he's cute."
Just then a man sat across from him. "Hey, I need a favor man." Said the newcomer and Pythor held up a hand, signaling him to wait. "Oh, did he now? That doesn't sound like the kind of date you take a one night stand on in deed, but don't get your hopes up dear brother. Alright. Alright. Well, I must go now. My friend just sat down with me. We're at that diner with the jutebox you love so much. Oh, I know your jealous! Well, I'll be getting off now. Good luck with your classes. Love you to brother. Miss you. Bye."
Pythor then glared at his friend. "What do you want? Spit it out." He said and the man gulped. "I was wondering if you'd go in with me on a birthday present for my sister? Theres this one thing she's been asking for since her last birthday, but it's out of my price range. Since you have a better paying job..." He said and Pythor seemed to think. "Depends. What is it?" He asked.

Pythor walked into his apartment at the end of the day and pulled out his phone to shoot a text to his brother.
He then sat at the couch to watch TV and not long after, his roommate walked through the doors. "Home so soon?" Pythor asked as he looked over to see Scales.
Scales was a brunette who'd died his hair a blue green color and had bright red eyes. He rolled his eyes at Pythor's comment and sat beside him on the couch. "Shut up. Work was slow so they cut me for night." He said and Pythor chuckled. "At least you got a break." He reasoned and Scales shot him a mini glare. "True, but now my paycheck is gonna take a cut." He argued sternly.
Pythor shrugged. "So what? I'm the one paying the bills. I'm just surprised you've managed to keep this job for so long man." He said and Scales shoved him. "Shut up you ass!" He cried out as Pythor began to laugh.
"Anyways... How's your little brother? Isn't he going to college far off?" Scales asked and Pythor shrugged. "Fine. Apparently he met some cute guy, but the dudes a total player."
"That sucks."
"Yup."
Pythor then got up to get something to drink. "Either way, I just wish I was there with him. He's always been a bit to trusting." Pythor complained. "More like you've always been to over protective man! He's to trusting cuz you won't let him fall! Leave him be, he was bound to fly out of the nest one day. Let this player dude break his heart. It's about time he learned to stop trusting everyone anyway and the only way to learn that is the heard way. Otherwise he ain't ever learning." Scales called out and Pythor scoffed. "It's my job to protect him!" Pythor called back from where he was digging through the fridge.
"You can protect him all you want, but save it for when he actually needs it! Let him live a little Pythor. If he never falls he'll never learn how to climb back up. One of these days you're gonna be gone and he's gonna fall so hard he'll never get up because he never learned how!" Scales scoldedas he got up and went into the kitchen himself. "Just let him be. Okay?" He added as he leaned against the counter.
"Now, I kinda lied. I quit tonight. My grandfather called. You know how he moved to Ninjago when my dad was young. Either way, with my dad dead from that car accident and no other options, he wants me to come run the family business. Can you believe it? I already received the plain ticket and got my passport. I'm leaving tomorrow. Wanna join me?" Scales said and Pythor shook his head. "I'll take you're advice, so it's best I stay here. At least my job keeps me busy. My brother already knows where to find me when he falls anyways." Pythor responded and Scales nodded. "Understood."
