"Grandpa!" Koda ran into the tea shop in the morning as Iroh was making tea for some customers and laughed at the boy as koda hugged him around the waist.

"I brought rocky today," Koda held up his badger mole and Iroh smiled picking it up.

"Are you two here to be my helpers?" Iroh asked him as some older women cooed at them.

"Yep! Did you wash the tea out of my apron?" Koda asked cocking his head to the side and Iroh motioned to the back as Katara and Zuko walked in.

"How are you my dear?" Iroh asked seeing Katara tired and sat down.

"Just as pregnant as yesterday," she stated flatly.

"I'll get you some breakfast," Zuko told her gently and she smiled touching his hand.

"Morning uncle," Zuko nodded at him with a smile and went to the back as Iroh looked at Katara worried.

"What happened?" Iroh asked sitting with her.

"I think zukos getting nightmares again," Katara looked down a little and felt irohs rough calloused hand touch her soft slim one.

"It's understandable, he regrets so much not being at kodas birth," Iroh told her gently.

"He knows that wasn't his fault," she shook her head. "He's just been worrying about me a lot,"

"I see, yet he still loves you as much as yesterday, he just wants to be as supportive as he can for you," Iroh explained with a gently look and she smiled at him a little.

"I know, thanks," Katara sighed nodding.

"Anytime Nia," he patted her hand smiling as he got up. Katara grunted standing up as well as she went to go to the back but suddenly she felt something off and looked down with wide eyes.

"Fucking finally, lee?" Katara called as she sat back down with a small deep inhale.

"You okay Nia?" Zuko walked over to her as he set a plate down to help Koda tying the back of his extra small apron Iroh made for him that was covered in tea stains.

"Yea I'm fine, just my water broke," Katara shrugged and both of her boys looked at her wide eyes.

"My baby brothers coming?!" Koda gasped as Zuko was at her side.

"Yep, now can we go to the medical center?" Katara asked with a fake smile to hid the small annoyance and pain on just wanting the baby out.

"Koda you stay with your grandfather, when I come get you, your going to meet your baby brother or sister," Zuko told his son as Koda was bouncing excitedly.

"Can't I come with?" Koda asked wide blue eyes seeing his mother was trying to leave.

"Sorry baby but this is a mama and daddy situation, we'll be back soon, I love you," Katara touched under his chin smiling down at him as Koda smiled agreeing with a nod.

"Okay mama," he ran to the back of the tea shop.

Grandpa guess what?!"

"Guess we better get going, have you had any contractions?" Zuko asked as he held up Katara gently for support. She whimpered a little holding her stomach but shook her head.

"No but I rather not be walking when I do," Katara gulped and they walked out of the tea shop.

"Just breathe kat," he smiled looking at her as Katara had determination on her face with a nod.

"Hey baby is coming!" Katara walked into the small medical building as some of the women cheered knowing this pregnancy was coming.

"Finally nia, when did your water break?" The leader of the group walked over as some girls gushed over zukos over dramatic worrying for his wife. He's been like that since they found out she was pregnant.

"Like ten minutes ago, but with Koda I was getting really bad pains before my water even broke, but after that he took like eight hours or something, I don't know I was crying and sweaty," Katara shrugged.

"We'll take it from here Lee," the girl smile gently at him.

"Wait can I come with?" He pursed his lips as his heart raced.

"This is just boring stuff, probably go for a walk since she's not dilated enough," she explained and he gulped nodding.

"I'll be okay, just take a deep breath, you look like your going to pass out," Katara turned to him with a smile, touching his face gently.

"Come on, let's check on how your doing Nia," the woman pulled Katara away as Zuko sat in a chair on the side feeling light headed.

-

Zuko sat in a stone building as he waited for Katara to give birth while there was nurses helping her, he knew she'd be fine but they had no idea what could happen, if the baby would be a girl or boy or even healthy, Katara would lay in a bath some times and pushed the water around her stomach with her healing abilities to make sure the baby would stay healthy as it worked with Koda.

"Your first?" A young woman asked next to Zuko.

"Um no, second," Zuko mumbled as he wasn't exactly the most social in the town but many women still noticed him. Katara noticed the women that stared a little to long at her husband as well, the mysterious handsome stranger.

"Aw, my brother is sick," the girl sighed leaning back and smiled at him.

"Sorry to hear that," Zuko said softly and looked at the door as a nurse walked out but didn't look at him yet to come in. She went to get more towels.

"Is that your sister or girlfriend in there?" The girl smirked at him.

"Sister?" Zuko made a face disturbed.

"I see plenty of brothers in here being supportive of their sister, when the baby daddy doesn't stick around," she laughed a little and Zuko looked at the door seeing that nurse return with towels now.

"Wife," Zuko stated.

"And here I thought I had a chance, who am I kidding, I've seen you around town with her, she's beautiful, and second child? My hopes got to high huh?" The girl teased and Zuko didn't give a reaction. He didn't smile much around strangers.

"Four years now," he sighed nodding giving into the conversation.

"Were you a soldier?" The girl asked.

"Not in a very long time," Zuko said dryly as he looked down.

"I can tell, you have that look in your eyes, the one where you've seen some shit," she said quieter as Zuko didn't look at her.

"I've seen a lot of things, a lot of them are shit," Zuko nodded and she smiled. A doctor went and got the young woman and lead her away leaving him alone.

For hours Zuko sat in silence as he just waited to go in as nurses passed him, the girl came back and forth between visiting her brother and chatted with Zuko when he rested. But until the evening a nurse finally came over to him.

"Wanna meet your baby?" She asked Zuko as he looked up at her and got up to following her in the room.
