Koda held Aang and suki's hands as they walked down the villages dirt roads as people didn't really pay attention to them while koda looked around trying to find his family.  There was a wet cloth against his nose to stop the bleeding.

"This is where you live?" Sokka asked looking around walking behind him. The blue eyes of the child threw him off, he was a fire bender yet his eyes were blue, how was that possible? While living in the earth kingdom.

"Yep! There's not a lot of kids my age," Koda told him with a big smile.

"I think it's on the other side, our house is farther so mama can have a garden," he explained with a shrug. "Daddy built her it,"

"Thats my grandpas shop," he pointed at the tea shop ahead.

"Koda!" A man saw the boy from the tea shop window as they passed by.

"Oh that's Daddy," Koda gasped excitedly as he let go of the two young adults hands and went to go look for his father in the shop.

"Daddy I'm over here!" Koda ran ahead as Zuko was jogging over concerned as soon as he saw his son and looked relieved seeing he was okay.

"Hakoda where have you been?! We've been looking for you all morning, you never went to grandpas," Zuko knelt to him as koda hugged him tightly.

"Hey what happened? You're hurt, who hurt you?" Zuko noticed his clothes were dirty and a scrap on his knee, blood and dirt on his face.

"Uh... the-the earth benders found me, i was chasing a kitty and I accidentally ran into them," Koda explained with his head down.

"They hurt you?" Zuko asked in a low tone.

"They pushed me," he nodded.

Zuko gulped a little as he inhaled deeply trying to not show his child his rage, it wasn't at him but he was going to kill those soldiers. He wrapped his arms around his son as koda hugged him back happily.

"I'm just happy your safe, your mom is very worried," Zuko held him close and kissed the side of his head as koda felt tears burned in his eyes. He was so scared without his parents.

"Daddy I think I'm a fire bender," Koda whispered in his ear.

"Haha... what?" Zuko blinked surprised.

"Yea, accidentally fire bended at them," Koda pointed back at the group of people that saved him.

"They helped me though," he smiled as Zuko picked him up as he looked at the four people walking over to catch up.

Zukos heart stopped with wide eyes. His gold eyes connecting with grey ones.

"Zuko?" Aang breathed in shock.

"Oh my spirits you're alive, Zuko how are you alive?" Aang ran over to him and hugged the man, they were almost the same height now with Aang being an inch shorter. Sokka and Suki looked at him like they saw a ghost. Toph seemed frozen at the name.

"Aang-I-what are you doing here?" Zuko asked in a low tone to keep him quiet as koda seemed confused too.

"Me?! What are you doing here?! Everyone thinks your dead!" Aang told him wide eyes but looked back at koda surprised.

"You have a kid?" He asked jaw dropping.

"Daddy I think they know your secret," Koda whispered loudly to him as they were surrounded by the gaang.

"Where have you been!" Toph asked as she punched his arm that wasn't holding a child.

"Hey ow!" he whined a little.

"You've been alive..?" Sokka gulped a little as he looked at Zuko wide eyes.

He walked up to the man and embraced Zuko tightly as the fire bender was crushed a little, he missed his friend.

"Hey, you guys should come home with me," Zuko sighed a little When Sokka let go.

—

"Hey mama!" Koda ran up to their house as Katara gasped seeing her son.

"Baby your okay," Katara hugged him tightly as she spun him around a little as koda giggled a little.

"Mom mom guess what? I'm a fire bender!" Koda bounced excitedly as Zuko caught up.

"Koda your to young, it's okay to wait baby," Katara smiled not believing him completely.

"No look!" He held out his hands as his palms faced up, he scrunched his face up concentrating hard. A small flame popped up.

"Ah shit..." Katara covered her face.

"Nice," Zuko smiled a little with his arms crossed.

"Yea, I found daddy's friends," Koda pointed as the flame disappeared. Katara looked over seeing other people walking to the house.

"Sokka?" She covered her mouth.

"Katara!" Aang yelled with tears of joy.

Her brother looked up at the sound of his name and the other name that was yelled. He stopped seeing his little sister standing with koda.

"Sokka!" Katara felt tears in her eyes as she ran to him. Sokka ran to his sister as she tackled him in a hug as she laughed and sobbed in disbelief, his face buried in her shoulder trying to not cry. He smelt the same.

"You're alive, you're alive, you're alive," Sokka whispered against her clothes as he didn't dare let go of his baby sister.

Aang tackled in the hug as well as Toph and Suki as they all cried a little as Katara reached for them as she hugged them all individually.

"Why are you here? What happened? How did you find us?" Katara laughed wiping her tears as she backed away trying to breathe again.

"Zukos kid kind of showed us," Toph told her as koda stood next to his parents.

"I cant believe you we found you both," Suki hugged her again happily as Katara smiled.

"Mama they're your friends too?" Koda asked excitedly.

"Mom..?" Sokkas jaw dropped.

"Baby, that's your uncle Sokka, that's Toph, Aang and Suki, they're very good friends of mine," Katara put her hand on his back.

"I'm an uncle?" Sokka teared up with his bottom lip sticking out

"Katara, you and Zuko had a kid? When did that happened? What-what happened to you?" Aang asked still confused as koda hugged her leg.

"Yea you hated him last time we saw you," Toph said flatly as she raised a brow.

"Actually we have another kid, we've been married," Katara moved her hair to show her necklace as she held zukos hand.

"No way..." suki whispered.

"Why don't we go inside, we have a lot to talk about," Zuko told them as he looked past them seeing someone was watching them from the distance in a house.

"So you're uncle Sokka?" Koda asked as he looked up at the warrior.

"Apparently," he smirked down at the kid.
