"Hello the love of my life~" Katara purred as she slowly closed the door behind her as Zuko finally was able to settle Izumi down for bed.

"Yes my love?" Zuko looked at her in suspicion.

"So today's been a little bit of a ride right?" She placed her hand on his chest and twirled the ends of his hair around her finger smirking.

"Just a bit," he raised a brow holding her waist.

"So I was thinking, just a thought, um what if we took out the bastards that hurt our little sweet baby boy?" She batted her eye lashes at him innocently and Zuko smirked.

"I saw the scratches on his arms," Katara whispered in his ear.

"Yea, shouldve saw it before I cleaned him up," Zuko growled back and she nodded.

"On the same page?" She smiled sweetly.

Zuko pulled her close as he pressed his lips against hers deeply as she moaned a little into the kiss, Zuko hiking her up as he held her by under her thighs as he held her with ease.

"I wanted to kill them," Zuko pressed his heated lips against her neck as Katara smiled a little.

"So date night again?" She asked giggling wrapping her legs around his waist.

"We could," he nodded.

"I'll go get my swords," Zuko set her down and Katara giggled a little watching him leave the room. She grabbed her black clothes and her husbands for the night as Aang walked in very confused.

"Are you guys leaving?" Aang asked seeing Katara pull her black shirt over her green tank top.

"For an hour, we'll be back before Koda wakes up," Katara pulled her hair back in a ponytail. Zuko walked past the avatar and handed his wife a knife.

"Whoa whoa what's going on?" He asked worried as Suki  and Sokka came in.

"Date night," Zuko shrugged a little as he put his hair in a low messy bun so it was off his neck.

"Sounds fake, what are you really doing?" Sokka frowned crossing his arms.

"So if Iz does wake up, just rub her belly or check her diaper, she's fed and that usually knocks her out for five hours," Katara patted her brothers shoulder with a smile.

"I'm kicking those thugs out of our village," she said seriously grabbing her boots.

"Oooh mom Katara is violent, is this like the scams?" Toph gave a thumbs up as she sat on the side.

"Katara you can't beat soldiers up," Aang gulped a little but Zuko gave him a warning glare.

"They were in our house yesterday and broke our stuff, threatened my toddler and infant, for fucking money, and today they hunted my son, they're not getting away with it," Katara pulled her pouch of waters around her waist.

"They've been stealing from the innocent for months now, we played along so we wouldn't stand out but they're not even apart of the army," Zuko added as he put his swords on his back.

"Earth kingdom thugs are known for pulling this trick, it's not the first time and won't be their last," he told them pulling his mask above his nose.

"How about we just talk to them first, I'm the avatar, I know they'll listen to me," Aang stopped them at the door as the parents looked determined.

Aang gulped a little as he remembered the last time he saw them was exactly the same, vengeance in their eyes and wore black clothes. He hoped they wouldn't disappear like that again.

"Okay, we'll talk," Zuko put his hand on Kataras shoulder.

"But I'm keeping my swords," he told him nodding.

"And if they don't listen?" Katara asked as they took off their black clothes.

"Don't worry, they will," Sokka agreed as the two looked at each other.

"Fine," she sighed annoyed.

"Will the kids be okay alone?" Sokka asked softly and she pursed her lips.

"I don't want it taking more than an hour, not with those soldiers still here," Katara leaned against Zuko a little with her arms crossed.

The group of six walked through the empty village in the middle of the night as there was a group of soldiers in the middle with a fire made. They noticed the six and got to their feet with their weapons.

"Isn't it the fire bender and water bender?" The leader glared noticing Zuko and Katara first.

"How's that little brat? I wonder how some people will react when they find out he's fire nation," he smirked a little at the parents.

"Do you want to repeat the other night?" Katara snarled but Aang and Sokka held her back.

"I fucking knew it was you bitch," the bearded man walked up to them but Aang stepped forward.

"Whos this brat? Looks like he's twelve," the looked the avatar up and down.

"I'm the avatar, these are my friends," Aang put a hand on his own chest to keep the peace.

"The avatar? Ha, you think I'm going to bow down and praise you? The fire nation is still killing and the fire lord still breathes, there's still a war kid," he chuckled shaking his head.

Aang gulped a little but didn't move, he kept his stance as the others were ready.

"You hurt my son," Zuko hissed and the man nodded proudly.

"Your lucky he's fast, I'd break his arm if I could, fuck it I'll break his hands like every fire bender deserves," he laughed and the other men laughed as well.

"He's a child!" Suki snapped back.

"That's it I'm done talking," Katara bended her water into a whip.

"I've known you were the benders from last night, as soon as I saw the kid, I know where he sleeps tonight," the earth bender chuckled crossing his arms.

Zuko frowned looking around but his heart stopped noticing there was less soldiers than the night before.

"Didnt think the avatar would show up but I'll make do," he shrugged.

"Don't you have a new baby? What another fire bender?" He spat and Zuko pushed Toph and Sokka out of his way as he sprinted at full speed.

"Zuko?" Aang turned around but noticed tophs confused face turn into horror. She turned behind where Zuko ran too.

She smelt smoke.
