Pounding - is or I can hear as blood rushes to my ears. My sixth sense becomes aware of someone standing in front of me. My body reacts before my mind can, desire flowing through me. I walk around Luka to see Patrick standing there with a gun.

"You think he'll protect you Wynter? You're wrong. He's just like Stella, he'll betray you the moment he gets a chance" a gun lies in his hand, pointed right me.

I look at Luka, as he stands protectively in front of me. Determination is the only emotion is can tell from his body language.

Bam!

A gun goes off so I brace myself for the pain but it doesn't come, I open my terrified eyes to see Luka looking at me as he lays in his own pool of blood, dead unmoving.

Like someone chucked a bucket of cold water over me, I spring upright to a sitting position on my bed, relaying the nightmare in my head. Pressure builds up in my chest and I realise that I am holding my breath.

Gasping for air, I look around my surroundings. I take the grey sheet off me as I move off of the king bed. My bare feet pad on the wooden floor as I turn around, looking at the prestine art. A large painting hangs from ontop of the bed. Knights stand tall in their armour protecting their queen, who sits on the throne with a huge brown on her head.

Besides the painting, the room is fairly simple with two doors on both side of the room. Prestine artwork line the walls of the room, drawn with precision and focus. Cold air nips at my skin and I shiver at the cold. A huge window is open on the other side of the room, so I walk to close it.

The view, my God, is spectacular. The area around the building is clear and well cut, but from a mile away trees are all you can see. I hear a faint sloshing of water, letting me know we're near the beach or a waterfall.

Where am I?

I lift up my shirt to look at my stomach, but all I see is a freshly healed bullet wound in its place.

Is this Heaven?

That's when my memories come rushing back to me, urging me... urging to get to... Tallis!

I sprint to the door, widly jiggling the knob, but it isn't locked. I run out the room as I rush down a flight of stairs. I see Jacob talking on the phone "Jacob! Where's Tallis?"

"I'll call you back, babe" he cuts the call and looks over to me "Wynter, are you all right? How are you feeling?" He asks with concern as he looks over my body.

"Fine! Where's Tallis?"

He scratches the back of head "Who?"

"My baby. The one I threw into the air before I nearly died, where is he?" I ask, stepping much closer to him, my eyes frantic.

"He's -"

"Here"

I turn around to see Luka standing there uncomfortably with Tallis in his arms, as if he wasn't born to be near a child. I run to him as he raises his tiny arms towards me, I take him out of Luka's arms and hug him to me as he giggles.

"I'm so glad you're okay" I whisper, showering him with kisses all over his tiny face as he continues to just giggle. I tear up when I don't see a single scratch on his head.
