Severus was rushing Poppy into the train station while carrying Poe's cage, trying to find the platforms 9 and 10, the train would leave in 15 minutes time.

"Come on, Poppy, you have to make the train otherwise you'll never get to Hogwarts!" Severus was almost there as Poppy was finally catching up with her trolley full of her belongings.

"But, dad? Where is Platform 9 3/4? I dont see a-" as she looked around, she saw a flat wall and her father staring at it,

"well, a running start might help, come on now, you can do it," he smiled at her and encouraged her, promising she wouldn't hit solid brick.

There were Muggles all surrounding them, she was sure she would make a fool of herselfwho runs into platform walls anyway? Absolutely no one. Poppy answered her stupid question. She looked at the wall nervously as her cheeks became a bright pink and she closed her eyes saying her last words of hope.

Poppy ran a bit and closed her eyes, bracing for the impact that never came. She opened her eyes in disbelief and she saw owls and trolleys and parents all waving goodbye to their children who were already boarded on the Hogwarts Express.

There was so much noise, she could barely hear herself think, colors of yellow, green, blue, and red flew by her as more students were boarding the train. She couldnt believe it, she was finally in the wizarding world.

Before she ran to the train to quickly go to her new home, she looked back to see where her father was, and there he was wiping a tear out of his eye and smiling proudly.

"Well go on, meet new friends, cast new spells, dont get expelled," he looked around at a loss for words.

"Dad, its only until the summer, I'll send Poe as often as I can," and with that the train whistle blew and they kissed on the cheek goodbye while Poppy ran onto the train, once sitting in her seat looking out the window, finding her father in the crowd and mouthing, Always with him smiling and mouthing it back. And there Poppy was, leaving her father and the Muggle world behind.
