"Hermione told me how awful you felt after the party. Poppy, I had no idea it was a mistake, not until she told me." Draco looked at Poppy with guilt in his eyes.

"I didn't know you and Hermione were friends," Poppy was looking into Dracos eyes confused what to think.

"She helped me study before you got here, we became friends over potions homework," Draco chuckled lightly, he moved hair out of Poppy's face and looked into her majestic green eyes, he missed looking into them.

"Draco Malfoy...struggling with homework?" Poppy laughed lightly giving a joking look.

"It was a bad time in my life, I had just moved out of my house and-" Draco stopped himself, but it was too late.

"Moved out of your house? Why would you do that?" Poppy grasped Draco tighter, even more confused.

"I just had to get away for a while, Malfoy Manor is a dangerous place if you let it be," Draco shook it off, but Poppy didnt budge.

"And why would it be a dangerous place?" Poppy put space between them, could she finally get somewhere with finding out the truth?

Beep. Beep. Beep.

Poppy's watch started going off, it was 10 of midnight and she had to go to the astronomy tower.

"What's that for?" Draco looked down at Poppy's wrist.

"Nothing, just a reminder to get ready for bed and make sure to feed Poe in the morning, goodnight," Poppy pecked Draco on the cheek and turned away to go to her dormitory.

Draco stood in the middle of the common room before grabbing his book off the couch and heading to his own bed. Poppy crept down the spiral staircase a few minutes later, keeping a lookout for Draco but he was nowhere to be seen.

Poppy snuck out of the common room and headed to the opposite side of the castle; she went up flights of spiral staircases where she finally got to the astronomy tower. She crept to just inside the dark where the moonlight wouldn't touch her skin, she saw a figure standing looking out over the grounds, it was Adrian.

"What're you doing here, Potter?" Adrian let out, Poppy stepped back further into the darkness.

"You can't tell her anything," Harry stepped out into the moonlight with his wand out.

"I can tell her your parents were there that night her mother was killed, that your father set off that curse on Granger's parents, you're not all that innocent yourself, Potter." Adrian grasped his wand in the case Harry decided to attack.

"Leave her out of it, Adrian. No one needs to know," Harry stepped forward, Poppy had tears rolling down her cheeks when a pair of hands covered her mouth and pulled her out of the tower.

Poppy quickly turned around and saw Draco with his finger over his mouth, motioning for her to be quiet. Poppy nodded understanding, and she listened to Adrian and Harry.

"They all need to know, you and Malfoy's parents, you're not who you say you are, Potter. They were all there, Draco may have left his home, but he is still a part of it," Adrian raised his wand. Poppy gasped and covered her mouth before Draco could hear her.

A floorboard creaked and Adrian and Harry turned away from where Draco and Poppy stood. Harry and Adrian looked at each other and ran off in opposite directions.

Poppy faced Draco in the moonlight, she felt angry and upset.

"They were there? All of them? And you never told me?" Poppy fumed, she couldn't get her thoughts out quick enough.

"Poppy, listen-"

"No, you listen. I don't want to see you. I can't believe I let myself feel guilty when you've been hiding something this big for so long," Poppy yelled, she turned to leave and Draco grabbed her arm, "don't touch me!" Poppy shoved him off and left Draco standing alone in the moonlight.
