Poppy put on her dark green dress with her jewelry and smiled at her reflection in the mirror. The dance start in thirty minutes and she couldnt wait to meet Harry.

You mean Draco?

Poppy quickly brushed that thought out of her mind, how could she not think about Draco, the potions room, midnight. She couldn't stop thinking of what they would talk about, would he tell her more about his life? How much does she really know about the Draco Malfoy?

Not much, all a mystery really.

She clasped her necklace around her neck and went to the Slytherin common room where she heard loud laughing,

"Oh please, I doubt he'll be blown away, he's seen me in less," Pansy smirked and saw Poppy walking down the steps, just in time to hear what she was saying. Pansy winked and walked out of the common room to meet her date.

Poppy found a couch to sit on and looked into the fireplace, processing what she had just heard moments ago. She teared up a bit but quickly stopped herself remembering the hours she had just spent putting her makeup on, she was going to meet with Harry and have a great time. And with that, she stood up, composed herself, and walked out of the common room.

She passed by the potions classroom and looked at the clock,

5 hours until you're back here

She sighed and walked to the entrance of the Great Hall looking for Harry and her other friends. Weaving through the crowd came Ron and Hermione, both smiling and blushing like crazy as they held hands.

"Poppy! Where's Harry? He should be around here somewhere. Ron, didn't you come down with him?"

Ron looked around and nodded, "yeah, we came down together, not sure where he went off to, though."

They all looked around, curious as to what happened. Poppy didn't see Draco either

Why do you care, hes obviously with Pansy

There was that laugh again, Poppy looked in that direction, but no striking blonde hair. Draco wasn't here either.

Oh no

Poppy quickly scanned over heads but didnt see either of them, she had to make sure Draco didn't go after Harry. She ran to the stairs to Gryffindor common room, but she heard a yell in a nearby classroom.

"Why do you want her so bad Draco? You're bad for her you know that! She doesnt know half the truth about you, she would be destroyed if she found out. Her father never trusted you or your filthy family after that night, you're the reason her mother's 6 feet under!" Harry was fuming and shoved Draco into a desk.

Draco was angry too, but his face fell after he heard the last bit.

Poppy couldnt believe Harry's words, she wanted to make a sound, but didn't want to be heard either.

"I'm not the reason, Potter, you know that. Your parents knew before too, they didn't stop Voldemort either! Honestly you call yourself her friend and don't even tell her how much you really know. At least I don't waltz around showing her off, her mother was killed Potter. Newsflash! She doesn't want to be the center of attention anymore!" Draco snapped back with a sneer, "what's your real intentions, Potter, why'd you ask her to the dance if not to show her off. She's famous in our world, everyone would be jealous."

Harry laughed, "you think I need her to show off? My parents were top of their class here, I'm a legacy for Merlins sake! I don't need her or anyone to make my name famous, I asked her to tick you off and clearly its worked."
