The Alleyway

I was stunned. This didn't make any sense. There was no such coincidence. Was I still dreaming? I was frozen to the point where I didn't even blink. "A-ally. Are you playing games? Is this here to freak me out?" I still didn't blink. I wish it was. This was beginning to freak me out. "No..." I finally spoke after almost a minute without blinking at all. I was confused, bewildered. I had dreamt of these two things last night, and now they were here, just as I had dreamt of them. It wasn't as if I had dreamt of buying a plain shirt, either. The design I had drawn matched the pattern on the gown exactly, as well as the flowers and vase. Though not expertly drawn, they were the same. "Lets just set up the vase and eat something." I said, snapping myself out of it. I couldn't much help it.. it was so strange and I didn't know what to make of it. Nodding, she put the purple flowers in the vase and went to put my dream diary away. She also hung the nightgown in my closet. I took my time making spaghetti and set it on the table. Cassidy still looked a bit shaken when she entered the kitchen to eat. The first bite I took fell off my fork and fell on my pajamas. "Just my luck." I grumbled as I went to my room to change. I found myself changing into the new night gown. I knew it was silly, but I had a bad premonition about tonight. I changed and as I walked out in the corner of my eye I could have sworn that I saw...man, I must be tired. I feel like I've been seeing things all day. I walked into the main hall and turned into the living room and found Cassidy watching Breaking Bad intensely teetering at the edge of her seat. I smiled. Is that what I look like when I watch one of my favorite shows? I shook my head and sat down on the couch next to her and took out my phone. Since I had neglected to charge it at all, it was only at about 40%. I reached over the arm rest towards the charger and plugged it in. The first thing I did was go on Tumblr. It could be weird at times but the fan bases are awesome on there and-yeah, I ought to stop thinking about thinking. Oh now I'm thinking about thinking about thi- back to tumblr, brain!

After mindlessly scrolling through feed and then listening to music for another hour, I decided to turn in, even if it was only 10:31. "Night sis." I called behind me as I walked sleepily towards my room. "Night!" She called back. When I approached my dark room from the bright hallway, I did a three count and then ran to my bed, jumped and grabbed the blankets and was safely under the covers in about three seconds flat. I had been doing this since I was a kid. I got comfortable and fell into a deep sleep

My peripheral vision was completely obscured... I only seemed to be able to see straight ahead. I was... where was I, exactly? I didn't recognize it. I was in an alleyway of sorts, there were gold-colored bricks supporting buildings on either side of me. Wanted posters and what seemed to be propaganda of something sort loosely scattered around the walls, a few blowing away in a breeze. I found myself walking out of the alley, I find myself on the sidewalk of an empty street. "There!" I turned and found a small group of cloaked humanoid figures racing towards me from down the street. As I looked left and right, I woke up. I was in my bed, with a bad premonition and reverse déjà vu.
