As soon as avni came out getting out of the lift she started taking deep breaths. Her mind was unable to comprehend what to do and what not to. At that moment only one person's image came to her mind. That was of her only best friend riya. She hurriedly took out her phone from her bag and dialled her number. Within a minute she answered the call.

Riya: hello avi what's up

Avni: ri riya

Her shivering tone made riya shocked and confused. Riya stood up from the chair getting impatient to know what had happened to her.

Riya: avni what happened to you? Are you okay? Is there any danger you are in? Tell me where are you I am coming to pick you up!

Riya started her usual questioning making avni more restless.

Avni: riya please. Tell me where are you I am coming to meet you.

Riya: okay I am at a cafe right now I am sending you address. Come here

Avni: okay bye

Avni disconnected the call leaving more restless and anxious riya there. Avni got into taxi and heaved a sigh closing her eyes. How could he do that? Why did he do that? Why he was more interested to know where was she yesterday? Every word that he uttered was still ringing in her ears. The way he was seeking answers felt so authoritative and powerful. More over he was asking about abhimaan. He had seen them both previous day at the club. Her heart skipped a beat thinking about the possibilities of his behaviour.

Was he, was he affected by the fact that I was with someone? She thought. But next second it replaced by her negative thoughts. Why would he be? May be he just asked out of curiosity, she thought.

Her mind recalled the moment when he kissed her. The moment his lips touched her skin she got froze. The way he pulled her closer to himself was much more than anything. Her mind was completely out of control that she could not able to think rationally.

The taxi halted in front of the mentioned place and avni got out of it after paying him. She stepped inside the cafe and spotted riya at the corner table. She was sipping her coffee but looked lost. Avni knew she must be thinking of her. Avni walked up to the table.

The moment riya looked up at avni she hugged her tightly, sighing out of relief.
They broke the hug and took their seats.

Riya: avi are you okay? You scared me yaar! Why were you sounding so restless.

Avni: ( whispered ) dara toh usne mujhe diya hai. Just feel my heartbeat its going crazy. ( he made me scared)

Riya: kya bol rahi hai? Abhimaan ne kuch kiya kya? ( what are you speaking? Did abhimaan do anything? )

Avni: nahi neil ne

Riya: what? Ab kya kiya usne? ( now what did he do? )

Avni closed her eyes, took a deep breath and blurted out everything. Every single thing that she went through today. By the end of her tale riya gasped keeping her hand on her mouth. She was also shocked and could not believe. Avni had expected this reaction from her. She Sighed after pouring out everything to her best friend.

Avni: he seemed so ( taking a pause) different today. I have never thought he would do something like this.

Riya: avi I think he likes you

Avni snapped her head hearing her. This was what she had been thinking all the way.

Avni: but how I mean

She was at loss of words. Riya held her hand and gave a gentle squeeze.

Riya: why don't you ask him then? Look I agree your reaction was justified but you could have stayed more for the clarification he would have given after that.

Avni: I wasn't in my senses. My whole body got numb. I could not match his eyes and you are saying me, you could have stayed more?

Riya: okay relax. Now what? Will you confront him tomorrow?

Avni: I don't know. Mujhe kuch samajh nahi aa raha mai kya karu.

She said stroking her forehead.

Riya: see I had told you. You have a chance with him and he is willingly giving you that

She winked at last making avni gulped in nervousness. Don't know what would happen next. Don't know what Neil had in his mind. Don't know what more shock would bring the next day. She only looked on not knowing what to decode of his actions.

Other side neil came to his home smiling recalling the moment. She was so close to him. All for him and the feelings erupted in his whole body was something he was unfamiliar with. He had never felt like this before. So good and pleasing. So right and perfect. His mind never got tired of thinking about her since he had stepped inside his room.

After a while he got a call from ali. He was asking about his day. Neil was too tired to explain everything to him and moreover he didn't want to share anything regarding avni or them. So he just told ali about his work. After their brief conversation they hang up the call.

Neil laid down on the mattress keeping a hand under his head.

Neil: you don't even know what you are doing to me avni. Only I know how I restrained myself from not running after you. Your rosy red painted cheeks after I kissed, was worth watching, how amazing you feels in my arms that I never want to let you go away from me, The way you shivered with my touch made me feel insatiable for you more. When will I get to be with you in this room? With me beside you every night. I can't wait anymore!

He mumbled with closed eyes and only her face flashed in his mind making him smile even in deep slumber. Other side riya dropped avni to rajvansh house and they bid bye to each other.

She stepped inside the house and found whole family except abhimaan at dining room. They were having a dinner. Dadaji called avni watching her at the doorstep.

Dadaji: avni come beta join us

Avni: no dadaji thank you. I had my dinner with my friend

Dadaji: thik hai. Jao aaram karo

Avni nodded and went from there. Abhimaan's mother wasn't liking this carefree avni. She wanted to get control over her but all the time dadaji would come in between to save her. She wanted her to be devoted to abhimaan. But the case was totally different. Here her son wasn't getting time to stay at home. She knew avni is also stubborn and determined when it comes to her self esteem and work. She wanted to change it. And the only way to do was to manipulate her son for it. She knew abhimaan would agree to her and it made her satisfied.

Avni stepped into her room and got freshen up. She came out wearing a comfortable night suit. She plopped onto the bed and Sighed thinking about all the events of the day.

Avni: neil you made me mad at last. Ugh stop coming into my mind please.

How ironic she never used to get tired thinking about neil all the time or felt uncomfortable but now one thought of him was enough to make her nervous. Today what he did, she would never ever forget that in her life. For sure.
