Rivi's pov:

Nina pushed the chair to Jerry's dorm.
And helped to tuck raelyn to bed.

Star walked along,holding nina's finger

Sitting beside raelyn's bed i strech my arms a bit and then take the book ,that nina left on the side table.

I am yet to finish it, 38 pages to be precise.

I continue reading, I felt shuffling besides me, raelyn is getting up.

Please god , keep it good.
I crossed my fingers.

'Ready to conquer the day warrior!'I say grinning.

I know day's almost over but I was told major Adam says that to her when she wakes up .

So , I just felt like trying it.

And I just love it is more like a statement than a question.

Major Adam is surely a good dad.

She opens her eyes, streching.

Such a cute little thing!

She roughly tries to manage looking through her blonde waves.

'Hi' I offer her a small wave.

She gives a tiny wave back.

She is still holding the shirt.
She needs to get over on her own but that can wait for a while. We have bigger issues to manage.

'Hungry?'

She sits up.

"Dadda?"

No. Sorry?

'He isn't here right now , he'll be back when his work is over.'

I try to put the real picture in front of her nicely.

She gives a dissapointed nod.

'Mac n cheese and a pbj sandwich?'
I suggest wiggling my brows.

She needs to eat.

I honestly Don't even know if jerry has them .
If not he'll have to arrange them, if raelyn agrees.

She shrugs .
But her growling stomach gives it away.

I laugh softly at it.

'C'mon let's go eat!!
Can't have a hungry warrior now, can we?'
I say smiling .

She crawls towards me.

Thank god.

We eat peacefully, luckily Jerry's pantry had the things and nina made them .

Raelyn ate a little and thanked nina for the food, I didn't force her a lot to eat more.

She needs to feel like her opinion matters no matter how tiny.

She goes back to the room and I follow with my plate on my lap,after thanking nina and saying good night to her and star.

It is literally so amazing to watch a little kid trying to get up the bed.

'You did it!'
I cheer when she finally makes it on the bad.

She cracks half a smile , which makes me do a happy dance in my head.

'What are we doing now?'

"Can I join?" Star asks knocking the already open door .

Raelyn already shifts on the queen size bed making space for star.
It's kinda funny ,she wasn't really taking any space anyways.
