Ch 64: I Want To Be Alone

The story is set in 1898 Burma Which was separated from India in the year of 1937. British ruled India. Leila McCoy(Draupadi) set her foot in Burma, India. Leila asked her brother William McCoy "Why do you want me to come to India?" 

William(Bheema) said "I want you to meet Mr.Bentley. His full name is Gerald Bentley(Dushasana)" 

Leila asked "Why should I meet him? You won't set me up if there is no reason. So, Tell me the reason brother. I will think about it to meet him or not" 

William said "Fine, Our father wants you to meet him. It's up to you. Anyway, he is coming over here for lunch tonight " 

In the afternoon, John McCoy welcomed "Mr. Bentley, it's really nice you accepted our invitation for lunch at our house" 

Mr. Bentley said "Thank you for your invitation" 

John introduced her daughter "She is my daughter Leila. She came here to meet you personally" 

Mr. Bentley extended his hand for a handshake "Nice to meet you Ms. McCoy" Leila put on fake smile and gave him a handshake "Pleasure all mine, Mr. Bentley" 

Leila thinks "Wow, I can't believe my father wants me to meet this useless guy. He made me to come to India" 

At lunch, Leila was holding the knife in her right hand and the fork in her left hand. She cuts the chicken and took a bite. John asked "So, Mr. Bentley What is your answer?" 

Mr. Bentley said "I am a straightforward person. I like your daughter. She is beautiful."

She put down her knife and fork. She looked at Gerald "I am too a straightforward person. I don't like you" She got up her place "I am finished. I am going back to my room" 

John said Gerald "I will talk to my daughter"

John knocked her door "Leila, Open the door" 

Leila asked "What is this all about? What's going on? Why are you setting me up with some loser?" 

John said "I want you to marry Mr. Bentley. He likes you."

Leila puts her clothes in bag and said "I don't like him and I am going back to England"

John said "You are not going back and you are gonna marry him. It's my order" 

Leila opened her door and said "Father…You can't push your thoughts on me." 

"I don't care about your thoughts. You are gonna marry him. That's final" John said and left the room. 

Leila came outside of the house. William stopped her "Where are you going?" 

Leila said "I want to be alone" 

William stopped guards from following her "She will come back" 

Leila was wandering around the woods and sat down leaning to the tree. Her head tucked between her knees, hugged her legs and cried very badly. Suddenly, she heard the hiss sound. She lifted her head to find a snake in front of her. 

She stopped crying. All her sorrows turned to Afraid. She didn't move an inch or utter a sound. 

Suraj(Karna) came on that way with his friend Ram(Duryodhana). He saw a girl sitting behind the tree. He went to the girl to find a snake in front of her. The girl is frozen because she is frightened of the snake. 

Suraj lifted the snake(Vasuki, Snake God) in his hand and threw it away. Leila looked at Suraj and extended her hand for a handshake with the smile "I am Leila, Leila McCoy. Thanks for saving me" 

Suraj scratched his head and gave his hand in return for a handshake. She exclaimed "You got snake bit in your hand" He saw and fainted in few seconds

Leila asked his friend Ram "Help him out. Do Something" 

Ram sucked the poison through his mouth and spit it. Suraj slowly gained his consciousness and opened his eyes to find Leila eagerly waiting for him. She hugged Suraj "Thank you so much for saving my life. If something happened to you. I can't forgive myself" 

Suraj was surprised by the hug. He mind became blank, no words came out from his mouth.

Leila removed her hand around him and looked into his eyes "What is your name?" 

Suraj said "Yes.." 

Leila said "I understand you can't understand my language" . She tried asking the same question with the action "My name is Leila and you are?" 

"I can understand your language. My name is Suraj and he is Ram"

Leila repeated his name "Suraj?"

Suraj pointed out the sun and said "Meaning Sun" 

Leila smiled "Like a sun. You are so bright." 

Ram said "Suraj, We are getting late. You need to get treated for the snake bite(Burmese)" 

Suraj said "I should get going now" 

Leila asked "Where can I find you?"

"In temple"

Leila said "Okay, See you later"
