Ch 76: Stop Doing This To Me

Yajna placed her hand in Nikhil's chest and tried to push him away. Nikhil looked at her hands and held it and removed it from his chest and pulled Yajna closer to him until his chest fully against her own. He placed his hand back on her neck and his other hand was around her waist and said "Did Yash kiss you?"

"Nikhil, stop doing this to me"

Nikhil said "I want to know who is the better kisser, me and Yash. I always beat him in everything including you. I am not gonna lose you to him."

Nikhil tilted his head and crushed his lips against her. He has taken full possession and control over her lips. Yajna tries to break their kiss by pushing him away, which makes Nikhil's to pull her closer and tighter to him. Everytime Nikhil kissed her, she felt love for her but she felt the anger and the pain of his. Yajna tears traced down her cheeks to his lips.

He released her after he saw the tears. He can't afford it. He got up from the couch, slammed the door from behind and left her place. He hates himself for acting like a beast

He gave a punch on the wall. Nikhil thinks "She is the reason for making me beast. She deserves it"

Yajna's lips were swollen. She went to her bed without food and curled up in the bed and cried and muttered to herself "I am so sorry Nikhil for giving you so much pain in these years. I never thought you would still like me." and slept.

Next day in the office, Yajna pressed the up button and waited for the elevator. As she entered the lift, Nikhil entered after her. Nikhil didn't even glance at her but he held her hand and interlocked with hers. Yajna gazed at Nikhil, when the elevator reached the 6th floor. His hand was still interlocked with hers. Yajna muttered to him "Nikhil, Please let…" Nikhil looked at Yajna and  let her hand go.

Yash and Yajna prepared the business requirements and delivered them to other team members.

Nikhil gets angry whenever she is with Yash and calls "Yajna, can you come over? I have this doubt." When she went to his cubicle. Nikhil said "Pull a Chair and sit beside me"

She dragged the chair from the nearby empty cubicle and sat next to him. Yajna asked "What is your doubt?"

Nikhil holds her hand under the desk. He pointed out the website through the cursor. "Can you explain to me the workflow of an existing website?"

Yajna muttered to him "This is Office. Everyone will notice us. Can you let my hand go?"

Nikhil smiled sarcastically and said "No"

Yajna forcefully removed her hand from him and called "Yash, can you help him explain the existing functionality of the website to Nikhil?" and returned to her cubicle.

Yash came to his place "What is your doubt?"

Nikhil said "Explain to me, the existing workflow of the website."

Yash said "I thought, you are intelligent and you learn everything by yourself without my help"

Nikhil said "If you don't want to help, then you can leave. I am not interested to get help from you"

Yash sat beside him and explained the existing functionality of the website. How the customers create an account and fill up the details and purchase the documents step by step.

Nikhil said "I never thought you had brain before"

Yash said "I never thought you still act like a child" and left his cubicle.
