Ch 53: Draupadi's Rebirth

Yajna woke up from the hypnotism. Tears welled from deep inside and coursed down her cheeks. Dr. Armaan gave her tissue paper to wipe her tears.

After Yajna calmed down, she asked "Doctor, Do you think I am Draupadi Reincarnation? Is it really a person who can remember the past?"

Dr. Armaan said "The past lives are likely false memories, implanted through the susceptibility of the hypnotic method. The source of the memories is more likely cryptomnesia and confabulations that combine experiences, knowledge, imagination and suggestion or guidance from the hypnotist than recall of a previous existence. Yajna said "Nobody in this world wishes to be born as Draupadi. She was humiliated throughout her life. Never truly loved by her husbands or Karna"

Dr. Armaan said "Did you find any other person who appeared in therapy in the real world?"

Yajna said "I met few of them in the real world"

Dr Armaan asked "Last time you mentioned about some guy... Nikhil?..."

"Yes, I have seen him as Karna and his friend Ankur as Duryodhana. Ankur's girlfriend Charmy as Duryodhana's wife Banumathi"

"Anyone else in Pandavas?"

Yajna said "My Educator in Infosys training, Aravind Sir as Nakula."

Yajna added "There is one more person 'Bheema'. My friend Meera's brother Veer."

"Judging from your answer. I think you are reincarnation of Draupadi"

Yajna got a call from Nikhil. Yajna picked up the call "Hello Yajna.."

She remembered how Karna/Nikhil got humiliated in the previous birth. She started chewing on his lower lip and his eyes welled up with tears. Yajna covered her mouth, so that she wouldn't make any sound of crying. "Hello Yajna... Are you there?"

Yajna couldn't herself from stop crying. So, she disconnected the call.

Ankur asked Nikhil "What happened?"

Nikhil said "I don't know. I didn't hear anything. I will call her again"

Yajna got a call again from Nikhil. She wiped her tears and sniffed slightly and picked up his call "Hello Nikhil.. Sniffle"

Listening to Yajna's sniffing "Are you okay?"

She said in a quavering voice "I got cold. Can I talk to you later?"

Nikhil said "Okay, Take care of your health"

Yajna said "Mmm.."

Nikhil disconnected the call and said to Ankur "Yajna is Crying"

Ankur asked "Did you ask her the reason?"

Nikhil said "She doesn't want me to know that she is crying."

Dr. Armaan asked "Did Nikhil dream of you?"

Yajna said "I don't think he knew his past history or dreamt of ancient times."

Dr Armaan said "Something happened for a reason. You remember your past also for a reason and you need to find your reason. Are you going to tell Nikhil about your past history with him? "

"We really had a bad past. From his birth, he suffered a lot. Even his death was so painful. Past is past. It's better if he doesn't remember his past. This birth, I will not lose him." Yajna smiled "I am going to start over with Him"
